Vacation rentals with lake access in Drottningholm

We absolutely loved our stay! Comfortable house, great location. The sledding hill right out back, the view of the water, and beautiful holiday decorations put it over the top for our Christmas vacation with friends! Cedrik is an amazing host, too - He was always available for questions and tips, including booking us a delicious traditional Swedish Christmas dinner in downtown Stockholm! Tack!

An absolutely beautiful house with a very great location. There were also more than enough play opportunities for the children. The family responded very quickly to messages and thus saved our vacation. Absolutely recommended. I'm sure we'll be back.

This house has an amazing view that beats anything plus a great sauna (you pay an 500kr extra for each sauna occasion). Very clean and classic furniture. Kitchen super well equipped. Rooms feel large. Just a superb place if you are looking for privacy and stunning view. Will come again!

So peaceful! Amazing place to get away from the city. Great access to forest hikes and to Tyresta National Park. Mi-Si was so helpful and proactive; she made us feel very welcome and even offered use of her canoe! We liked it so much that we decided to stay a few extra days. Takes about 15-20 min to walk to Handen/Haninge shops or station through the forest and it's a beautiful stroll! Thanks Mi-Si, we'd love to come back some time! :)

Lovey house would recommend

Fantastic cottage and a very nice host couple who are helpful and very available. We only stayed one night but the location makes it perfect if you are going to be in Stockholm for a longer time. It was clean and tidy and everything was right as described.

The Charred House is really beautiful. The design of the home is really cool—great materials, nice lighting, and many small design details really create a cool ambiance for the stay. The home is very economical with its space but it’s got plenty of room for four people. I loved the location as it was very quiet and peaceful. It’s not right in the middle of the city but it’s an easy walk to the bus line which connects you with everything. My favorite part of the stay was enjoying a glass of wine in the evening while looking out over the water while the kids slept in the upstairs bedroom. Highly recommend!

Pretty elegant and clean house with public transport near by.

We had a short stay associated with a private party nearby and chose this home from outside walking distance to the party. Very nice, fresh and well-functioning accommodation that I am happy to recommend to others and can imagine booking again.

A perfect place to stay for a one-night stay. Loft beds aren't suitable for everyone because of their height.

Staying in Pär's apartment in Stockholm was a very positive experience. We were welcomed by the lower house, who gave us a tour and helped with questions. The apartment was much bigger than we thought, and really cozy. Everything was nice and clean. We were well taken care of with linens, clean towels, tourist brochures, and a bottle of bubbles in the fridge. We felt very welcome! The apartment is very central and within walking distance to the city center. There was peace and quiet on the street. Restaurant Lille Capri on the ground floor was a lovely place where we ate 3 times. Here we got great service! Everything in the apartment was in the best order, and Pär was quick to respond if we had any questions along the way. Thank you so much Pär for hosting - we would highly recommend this home to others.

The appartment was very well-equipped and perfect for one person during a long stay (one month). Birgitta and Anders are nice and caring hosts; the communication was friendly and easygoing. Issues with the internet connection were shared and quickly resolved. Gribbylund is a lovely neighborhood and the appartement is only 5min from a beautiful lake (which was frozen when I arrived, adding to the overall area's appeal). Walk trails are also available nearby in Täby. Groceries can be done in Täby Centrum (around 40min by foot): a Lidl and KFC are at around the same distance. A ICA store is located closer but I did not check it out. As a note, the ceiling is not specifically soundproof, so bring earplugs if you are sensitive to occasional noise (the main house is located upstairs and the garage is at the door). Vincenzo’s place was perfect for our visiting family. He was very responsive to any questions and made us feel very welcome. It felt like a home away from home. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Thanks for an excellent stay.

I stayed here for several weeks, loved everything about the place. The bus stops right in front of the building, and makes travel to and from the downtown core very convenient and quick. The neighbourhood is incredibly safe no matter what time of day (or night), the apartment is quiet and, though small, has a lovely spacious feel. The view is fantastic! The kitchen is very well equipped with modern and highend appliances. I really appreciated the excellent water pressure in the rain shower. The walking path between the street and the water was lovely, even during the winter when I visited. I even found the bed to be extremely comfortable, and that is saying a lot since I sleep on a Tempurpedic at home and have a bad back. Benjamin was a great host. I would definitely return, and think this is a jewel of a place to stay!

Peter and Malin were wonderful hosts that were always very responsive to our texts and last minute requests! Their place was spotless, cozy and has a very well equipped kitchen. The highlight of our stay was the hot tub that overlooked the sunset and the sea. It was the perfect 2-night getaway destination!

We had a wonderful and relaxing 2 weeks in this home. Very tastefully furnished Sea Cottage, with a lot of love for detail. The location is fantastic and the direct and private access to the water invites you to swim and kayak. We were able to relax well here in nature and at the same time Stockholm was easily accessible by ferry or car for sightseeing and shopping. So you have everything here to experience a nice vacation. The hosts were very friendly, relaxed and discreet. Thank you for this perfect vacation!

Extremely pleasant stay, everything we needed for a perfect forest retreat was there. Mattias went out of his way to give us helpful advice. Location also lends itself well for daytrips to Stockholm (using the commuter's train, for instance). Well recommended and would be happy to visit again!

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

We had a great time in Mysebo. Elena is really nice and she is always here if you need. The place is really nice and peaceful, you are close to the lake and there is many place to walk. The house is great for some days to relax, the sauna is perfect. Thank you Elena

Very cool place to stay close to stockholm to experience the quite "postcard sweden" but at the same time you can get to the centre of stockholm in about 30 minutes. We used the row boats all the time - very quick, independent and natural way to get to the island. The cabin is cozy, clean and has all the essentials you need. It was a super relaxing stay and we really enjoyed it.

Well, look no further if you want to relax and enjoy the most wonderful retreat on the Stockholm Archipelago. This is it! This property is simply a delight. It offers historic charm and character but is so well furbished. The bed is so comfortable as are the living room chairs. The burner was a real treat. Our hosts were just the best...allowed us privacy but always responded to any request. This was a great base to explore the area either by foot, locally, or by car across the Archipelago. Stockholm by ferry was so easy. If you want to self-cater, the supermarket is only 3 minutes walk away and satisfies most needs. Quite simply we didn't want to leave. We would without question return if opportunity arose.

We loved our stay! The location is beautiful with nice walks nearby. The cottage is very well equipped. The sauna and wharf are picturesque. Ulla and Karl-Gustav are the most fantastic hosts. Very kind, responsive and available but also respect the space. We would love to come back!
