In the apartment you will find: - 1 big living room with a comfortable sofa, armchair, big working/dining table and a TV, overlooking the rooftops of Ghent - 1 fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, water boiler, dishwasher, fridge, French press and coffee grinder - 1 bedroom for 2 people (king size bed) overlooking the main street - 1 smaller bedroom with a box spring bed for 2 people and a desk - 1 bathroom with a bathtub and a standing shower - separate toilet - utility room with a washing machine, drying machine, ironing board, iron and a drying rack The apartment is equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with a shampoo, conditioner, make up remover, body lotion and various other hygienic products. Please take note, that the apartment is not suited for young children (say under the age of 5) since we are not equipped for this and also the furniture is not adjusted (glass coffee table for example). The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. The apartment is very close to both public buses and trams. You will find the nearest tram station, Vogelmarkt (tram line 2), just around the corner, and the nearest bus station, Gent Zuid (most bus lines), a couple of streets away. A friend or I will welcome you and provide you with keys and a tour of the apartment. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all! The flat is nestled in a traffic-free street a short walk away from the very centre of the city, close to charming shops, hip bars, amazing restaurants and historical sights. Sympathetically restored and updated the apartment retains it's original features and has lovely views over the rooftops of the city. For an old building, it feels spacious and modern, but still cozy. Extensive and well equipped living space for the group to come together. Looking forward to coming back again in the future

Sophie’s apartment was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the area as it is close to a lot of restaurants and only about a 5 min walk to the metro (A line). It’s on the ground floor so no stairs or difficultly getting luggage into the apartment. I loved all the baby essentials she provided like the baby cot, high chair, baby bath and changing pad. Made us feel like we were right at home!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit über ein langes Wochenende mit mehreren Generationen. Super schönes Haus mit tollem Garten. Wir hatten Regen und Sonnenschein und beides ist gleichermaßen schön! Wenn man es gemütlich mag, schmeißt man einfach den Kamin an. Die unmittelbare Gegend ist super für schöne Spaziergänge. Ein Mini Supermarkt ist 7 min fußläufig entfernt, hier gibt es richtig leckere Schokocroissants 🤗. Dem Haus mangelt es an nichts und es ist super gemütlich und perfekt aufgeteilt. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Wat een prachtige plek! We hebben twee nachten genoten van deze geweldige locatie. De omgeving is schitterend en de accommodatie was van alle gemakken voorzien – echt aan alles is gedacht. De eigenaren waren erg vriendelijk en reageerden snel op onze vragen, wat we als heel prettig hebben ervaren. De tuin was een waar paradijs, met als hoogtepunt de dieren: de alpaca’s die we mochten aaien en voeren, en de kippen waar onze kleinzoon van twee enorm van genoot. Zo dichtbij de dieren zijn was voor hem (en voor ons) echt een bijzondere ervaring. Ook het weer zat mee, wat het verblijf extra fijn maakte. We kijken met veel plezier terug op deze dagen en raden deze plek van harte aan voor wie op zoek is naar rust, natuur en gastvrijheid.

Beautifully renovated. Lovely private garden with both sunny and shaded places to sit and enjoy your Nespresso or glass of wine. Two good sized comfortable sofa’s which is a very big plus point! Plenty of relaxed seating in the living room area for everyone (often not the case with Airbnb’s for 4 guests). Great location for walking, cycling or exploring Gent. Plenty of information available on things to do or see in the area, and a great host! Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your lovely Cottage.

Heerlijk verblijf in Antwerpen-Zuid! De locatie is echt top, alles op wandelafstand en een superleuke buurt met gezellige cafeetjes, restaurants en winkeltjes. Matthias was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam, reageerde snel en zorgde ervoor dat we ons meteen thuis voelden. Alles was netjes en comfortabel. Zeker een plek waar ik graag nog eens terugkom!

Hannes was an attentive and responsive host, answering messages and making great suggestions about the local area and its amenities. We had the most incredible stay in the loft! It was a beautiful unit and was in the best location that made it walkable to everywhere we wanted to visit in Ghent. We were a group of 3 couples - 6 people in total, and were very comfortable. The harvest table and large sofa were great for gathering together after a long day of exploring. We highly recommend staying here!
