House vacation rentals in Downtown, Pittsburgh

I really liked the space, both in the house and all around the outside. Inside many places to gather, relax, or swim. Outside something to do on every side of the house, campfire, pickleball, basketball, golfing…I could go on but my fav was up on the veranda looking out over the valley. I really liked the high quality bath linens. All in our group wanted to come back and the kids didn’t want to leave. The only negative voiced was the kitchen cabinets were so stocked that the only place for the food we brought was on kitchen counters.

Place was so nice for my Bachelorette party! Super spacious and beautiful and had a lot of fun rooms! The pool was also a great addition. Only complaint was that the main family room area was pretty warm, it seemed that the ac unit in there would not work. The host was extremely responsive and even checked in on us our second night! Billy Boy Retreat was perfect! Dave and Stacy made everything effortless—from the smooth check-in to thoughtful touches throughout the home. Every amenity we could possibly need was provided, and the space was both spotless and comfortably spacious. It felt just like staying at a beloved aunt and uncle’s home—warm, welcoming, and easy to settle into. The pool was pristine and perfectly heated for all-day enjoyment, and the rafts and pool toys kept the whole family entertained. In the evenings, the outdoor patio and hot tub were ideal for unwinding. We couldn’t have imagined a better place for our family vacation!

This place was great! Plenty of space for our family if 5 and the pool was a lot of fun. In a nice little neighborhood and a half mile walk to some shops and restaurants. Also only about 15 minutes to Heinz Field and Pitt. If you are visiting Pittsburgh I would highly recommend this place.

If I could give my stay 10 stars, I totally would! I'm a little biased about the location because I grew up probably around 2 min from Larry & Mallory's beautiful home, so I know the area is wonderful, peaceful and quiet!! Super easy to check in! Very clean! They literally thought of everything!! The only steps are the ones to get down to the basement. Very accessible if you have bad knees, or can't do stairs. Bedrooms were clean, comfortable and very inviting. TV in one of three bedrooms, TV in the living room, and a HUGE TV in the basement. Great if you are movie-watchers or tv people. Kitchen has everything you need at hand. The coffee station was amazing! Keurig, French press, whole bean coffee with grinder, creamer, and tea for the tea drinkers! Bathrooms were immaculate, plenty of towels & washcloths. Pool and pool house were stunning! It was like I was staying at a resort! I absolutely would recommend "Robinson Retreats" to everyone & can't wait to go back!

Enjoyable weekend and the house suited our needs nicely.

The house is absolutely beautiful and yard is very big ! The neighborhood itself isn’t the greatest but the house is at the end of a dead end street with little to no neighbors so very quiet and peaceful ! Absolutely beautiful home I was blown away ! Nicer then my real home lol

Truly enjoyed our stay. Pittsburgh is challenging when it comes to navigating the steep hills and lots of twists and turns in this area, once you got there it was a nice little culdesac with easy, free parking. The space was exactly as shown, very lux and stylish. The shower has a bluetooth speaker and a modern jet tub. All the amenities were great, completely stocked with toiletries and all the little details. Edgar was extremely responsive and helpful. Checking in and out was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

This was The Best Airbnb property I have stayed in. Beautiful kitchen, high end appliances, everything you would need to make meals; better than mine at home! Super clean, nicely decorated, so comfortable. Good communication.

Husband and I had a great time. We would definitely go back. The house was immaculate and so beautifully decorated. It was cozy and provided everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Great location and stay. We stayed one night for the Open so we were not at the actual Airbnb very long but really loved the neighborhood and the stay was very comfortable. The kitchen was very cute and it was a quiet spot. Be careful of the stairway which is in between both bedrooms and you will need to take a step down then a step up in front of the staircase when staying in the bedroom off the left in order to reach the bathroom. It was not an issue for us but may be for anyone with a disability or stability issues. We had dinner at Pusadee’s Garden down the road and it was absolutely incredible and the highlight of our stay. Can’t recommend it enough. We would come to Pitt specifically to eat there again and this is the perfect place to stay. It’s also very safe and there was ample street parking too. 10/10

Excellent location plus an excellent host = 5 stars across the board!

My father and I stayed here during the US Open weekend, and highly recommend this place. It was perfect for us because my dad could stay in the room with the bed and I used the convertible couch bed. It was clean, Laura was extremely clear with all aspects of the place, (all of the pictures were extremely helpful to see beforehand), and it is a great location. Street parking was always nearby, and we were easily able to load and unload right by the entrance. If you are considering multiple airbnb locations in Pittsburgh, I would say your search is over. Book this spot before someone else does! David

Had a wonderful stay at William’s back house. The upstairs outdoor patio felt like a private treehouse and the location was an excellent home base.

Kristina was a great host very responsive. Place was exactly as described. All amenities needed. Great location. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The only problem we had with this house is that we now have to completely redecorate our home to match this decor. This is the most tastefully decorated house in which we have ever stayed. The minimalist, no-clutter surroundings were peaceful, comforting, and consistent throughout the entire house, tying each room together and linking the upstairs to the downstairs. The darker accents were subtle but noticeable. We want our house to look like this (especially the master bathroom). The house is roomy yet cozy. The photo album describing the rich family history is a must read. It is amazing what the owners have done by way of restoration. This house is leading the way of a quiet street (friendly neighbors) that is in rapid transition.

Our family loved our stay in this beautifully redesigned row house in Pittsburgh’s charming Mexican War Streets neighborhood. The home was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and updated with modern touches throughout. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with premium linens that made for a great night’s sleep. A quick note for future guests: all the bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the second floor, which was no issue for us but worth mentioning. The location is excellent—just a short walk to restaurants, parks, and local attractions. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back the next time our travels bring us to Pittsburgh!

Had a great stay in Pittsburgh. Short Uber ride to downtown areas. We were in town for the US Open so we didn’t get to explore the area much but was perfect for our groups needs. House was very clean and creatively decorated. Would definitely recommend!

It was wonderful, place is REALLY cute, clean and we felt very safe. We arrived in town a little earlier than we expected, and I called Sofia and we were able to get in two hours before normal check-in time, that was very nice. Sofia also had a fresh and delicious loaf of bread waiting for us (loved it). We will definitely stay there again when and if it is available. Thank you Sofia & Rick Bill and Barb

Anna's home is just plain gorgeous and cozy. The neighborhood was quiet and I felt safe. Easy walk to restaurants and all thinks south side.
