Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Downtown Des Moines

Our host, Jesse, was amazing. The loft was so beautiful. What I really appreciate was the instructions for entry, parking, etc. was plainly explained and made everything so easy. He told us he was available for any questions or concerns, but he had everything so organized I didn’t have any questions! We visit family in Des Moines IA and we will be back often and look forward to having Jesse as our host on those trips! Jesse - thank you for making our trip so successful! See you soon!

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was about one mile from Jordan Creek Mall. the apartment was very clean and spacious enough for blow up mattress in the living room. The apartment overlooked the pool on the ground level. There are a lot of restaurants, Top golf, Movie theatre and the mall. We went to Smash Park and played all kinds of games from Pickleball to Baggo/Washers. We would definitely be willing to stay here in the future. Michelle from Ofallon, MO.

We had a great 3-day sisters’ getaway at Dan’s loft in Des Moines this week. The apartment was clean, smelled great, and the beds were so comfortable. We appreciated Dan’s flexibility with our early arrival and fast pickup when we had an elevator question.. The location of Dan’s loft was great. Friendly residents in the building recommended the best places to eat. They were usually a 5-10 minute walk away. All-in-all, a great trip. WE’LL BE BACK!

Great location. Easy walk to the East Village. Jesse was extremely organized and proactive. The space was as-advertised and worked great for a quick stopover in Des Moines.

I can’t say enough about my stay at Timothy’s property. Everything was perfect. Timothy went above and beyond preparing the unit for my stay. I will for sure book again. Do not hesitate to book with Timothy, you will be happy you did! I was!!

This is a great downtown location! It's right in the middle of everything! we enjoyed the farmers market just steps away, the garage was great, and a great set-up inside. The host gave detailed instructions, we missed a step on which side to enter, so pay attention. With it being downtown, do expect music and events. Great views, we loved it!

Very friendly host. The apartment has a lot of space, is very clean and easy to live in. When we come back we would love to rent this apartment again. Around the corner several good restaurants and a hyvee to get groceries.

Crystal clear instructions on how to get into the building and once you get in, it’s easier the next time. Had a small hiccup with parking, because of a race that had all the streets around the building closed, but Kyle gave us an alternative suggestion that worked out just fine. Everything was clean and exactly as described and shown. One of the most comfortable bed/pillow combos we’ve had!! Great location and walkable to everything we were in town for.

This unit was as described and very comfortable. The instructions on how to get into the building and then into the unit were excellent. So glad that the unit had a washer and dryer. The free assigned parking space in the parking garage was priceless! So safe and secure. Very quiet area and attached to the Des Moines Skywalk. Walkable to a large grocery store, restaurants and entertainment. Could not get the online "guide book" to open up. Could have contacted Josiah, but didn't really find a need for it. You might want to make sure you will have access to it before arriving. Highly recommend this unit and renting from Josiah.

The perfect space for our family gathering. The downstairs entertainment kept everyone busy for hours. Very spacious and plenty of bedrooms and beds for everyone. Will most definitely stay again.

This was a lovely home in a perfect neighborhood! Perfect for my bachelorette weekend! Alex was super quick to respond to the only thing we needed. Highly recommend booking here!

We were in town for our son's graduation. This was by far the best AirBnB that we have stayed in since inception! The house is gorgeous, please take care of it if you stay, great host are hard to find. Everything was clean, updated and perfect in every way. The beds were extremely comfortable, plenty of linens and towels. There were more than enough extras of everything, so if you forget to bring something, chances are it's provided. There was more than enough space for our group of 4 adults. We couldn't stop raving about the space, everything is as listed, Jennifer's communication is awesome and she was very accommodating with a couple of changes we needed to make. The only thing we could complain about is that we didn't find the space sooner, being this is our last weekend trip here. We definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

This home was by far the most well equipped AirBnB I've ever stayed in. Every detail was covered, from Qtips to board games for the kids. It truly felt like home in so many ways! Bedding was sooo comfortable (I may have even went home and ordered the same comforter set and throw blankets 😂). Highly recommend this home.

Stayed here while visiting my daughter and her husband who live locally. There was plenty of room and everything we needed. Host was very responsive and even shared about some local events happening. The house was clean and the beds comfy.

We had three couples split this abnb, and had a wonderful weekend! It’s close to downtown, drivable. And within walking distance a a couple good places to eat. The hot tub was an amazing amenity and was spotlessly clean and in fantastic working order.

Loved our stay in Des Moines! My brother in laws and I came in town for a half Ironman. Debbie was amazing to work with through the entire process and it turns out she had done some herself. So in addition to a beautiful home, with great accommodations, we also received helpful tips and words of motivation from her as well. Race weekend turned into a full family affair and l can’t thank her enough for her flexibility in working with us to make the stay as comfortable as possible for everyone involved. Some “on the fly”adjustments were made and she was extremely helpful and gracious throughout. Thank you for making such a special weekend that much better! “Iowa Nice” was experienced in full effect!

Doug’s place is great! We appreciated the indoor and outdoor space, and there was something to do or a place to rest for our family of 6. One thing to note: We were in town for graduation festivities, and there wasn’t any available closet space to hang our nice clothes on hangers. If you’re good with keeping everything in your suitcase, you will be just fine. Otherwise there are coat pegs/hooks to get creative with. We had a comfortable stay!
