Apartment vacation rentals in Downtown Des Moines

For a one night stay, gabby’s place was perfect. It was clean, cute and the area it was in was quiet. Gabby was incredibly responsive and gave us some good recommendations to explore Des Moines! She’s had by far been one of my favorite hosts!

I felt right at home for the couple weeks I was there. I loved the electronic smart locks, I always felt safe and sure my stuff would be there when I got back. Host is friendly and very responsive. If you have any issues he’s got your back.

Great place to stay in Des Moines. Central to everything. We visited for a race and the road with the parking for the Airbnb was closed, however, there is so much parking around that area that we were able to find alternatives for free as well.

Ethan was very helpful and flexible. The space is simple in the best way. Clean and affordable, too.

My stay was great. I met Mark right when I arrived. He assisted me with checking in. The room clean and I felt totally comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a great 3-day sisters’ getaway at Dan’s loft in Des Moines this week. The apartment was clean, smelled great, and the beds were so comfortable. We appreciated Dan’s flexibility with our early arrival and fast pickup when we had an elevator question.. The location of Dan’s loft was great. Friendly residents in the building recommended the best places to eat. They were usually a 5-10 minute walk away. All-in-all, a great trip. WE’LL BE BACK!

Our host, Jesse, was amazing. The loft was so beautiful. What I really appreciate was the instructions for entry, parking, etc. was plainly explained and made everything so easy. He told us he was available for any questions or concerns, but he had everything so organized I didn’t have any questions! We visit family in Des Moines IA and we will be back often and look forward to having Jesse as our host on those trips! Jesse - thank you for making our trip so successful! See you soon!

Very nice downtown loft. There were a lot of amenities and great set up for a family stay.

Jesse’s place is great! Perfect location and I felt really comfortable staying there. Parking is super close and I loved being able to walk around the East village. I would love to stay here again next time I come to DSM.

Dan is a first rate host. Very nice place, easy access to get in. Comfortable and nicely maintained living space in the center of downtown. Easy access to everything! Keep in mind it is downtown so you do hear cars and whatnot going by. Great place to stay if you’re looking to experience downtown Des Moines for a visit or work!!

If you are considering staying here, DO IT!! We had the absolute pleasure of staying here for about a week. Dan is absolutely incredible!! Extremely fast to respond to any needs or questions. We had an issue but had to leave and he came over to fix the issue and, get this, was kind enough to do our dishes!! The beds are so extremely comfortable!! Love that there is a TV in each room as well as in the living room. The apartment is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! Had everything we needed and more. There is an incredible game room that my kids and us loved! Along with an excellent gym. Everything was top notch!! The proximity to everything was also incredible!! We are planning booking again when we come back in 3 months. Thank you so much, Dan! We can’t wait to come back!!

We stayed here for several weeks for a temporary residence before moving into our new home. The residence had everything we needed, it was great place for our dog, and was near everything. Josiah was proactive with communication and always helpful.

The place was conveniently located, very good size, and the price seemed reasonable. It did indicate that the evenings were loud with a bar/restaurant across the street, but we knew that going into it. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you so very much.

Very nice building with secured access. In a bit of a revitalization neighborhood with some mix of updated buildings and businesses. Mild construction sites & sounds.

We had such a great stay! The property was beautiful and very quiet/low key. It was a great neighborhood that was close to almost everything! Jake was super helpful in recommending places to go out and was quick in his responses!! 10/10 would recommend:)

This is my second stay with Sleepover in this building. The unit was spotless, quiet, and comfortable as always and the host is very helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

This was our second stay here. My husband and I came for our anniversary last year and when we wanted another private getaway, this was the first place that came to mind. It's so peaceful and perfect for a little getaway to reconnect. The place is clean and beautiful, the bed is comfy, and we essentially live in the hot tub. I'm sure we'll set up another stay in a few months!
