We absolutely LOVED our stay here. It was located in a more local area about 30-40 minutes from downtown Chania. We were surrounded by stunning views in the mountains. It was quiet, peaceful, and private. Sofia greeted us with such a friendly welcome and a delicious home cooked meal. She was very responsive too. We also enjoyed her local restaurant recommendations. The home itself is beautiful, it was lovely learning about its history and how beautifully traditional the home was kept yet equipped with many updated amenities. Note that renting a car is a must! We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

A magical villa and environment! Such a wonderful host too, who made a lovely meal for our arrival even though it was after midnight! Quality in the whole villa and the pool area with breathtaking views! Four beautiful bedrooms with luxury en-suites meant no guest felt deprived. We feel restored and rejuvenated! Thank you for such a lovely holiday, I thoroughly recommend to all!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, well-kept, and lovingly furnished place. Everything you need is there. The host was super friendly and gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and the surrounding area. Upon arrival, the fridge was already stocked with drinks, fruit, and other items, so there was no need to go shopping on the day of our arrival. It was a perfect stay, and we would love to come back.

Beautiful and very modern villa with everything you need inside to spend a few days relaxing. Being in an easy to reach but slightly isolated area, your stay will be very quiet. The pool and gardens are extremely well cared for, there is great attention from hosts and the owner for cleanliness. All rooms have an air conditioner and all windows have mosquito nets. My friends and I were very happy with our vacation, we recommend this Villa to all those looking for a quiet accommodation, surrounded by greenery and with all possible comforts.

We traveled with friends and babies (a total of 4 adults and 2 babies (8&10 months old)) to the villa to Savas & Maria and the villa was fantastically beautiful (even more beautiful than in the photos)! For our tour group, the villa was just perfect, we had our peace, could relax and the children had enough space to play on the giant terrace. Savas & Maria kindly provided everything necessary for our kids (crib, baby chairs, a small inflatable pool and plenty of toys). Cleanliness is very important in the villa, the villa was handed over to us in perfect condition! The villa was rounded off in the evening by the overwhelming sunsets! Savas & Maria were extremely communicative, gave us great recommendations and were always available! We would like to express our sincere thanks again for your warmth, hospitality and a fantastic stay! If we come back to Crete, we'll come back to you!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Fairytale Villas! Located about 20 minutes outside of old town Chania, the villa has beautiful views of the mountains and a small growing fruit orchard. It's really beautiful and peaceful. The home is well-designed for a family of 4 and has all the needed amenities. The pool is amazing. My kids swam every morning and night. Note that you would absolutely need a car to stay here because it is not walkable to anything, but an easy drive to a grocery store for cooking. We would love to come back someday!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Beatiful view and nice downstairs appartment with own pool and yard. Parking lot had always room for our car. From parking lot there are deep stairs down to the appartments yard. We came late in evening and it was little bit difficult to get in without light on the appartment door. Pool was great for swimming and view fo Chania and sea bay just amazing. If you have lot of electronic devices with you, take a power strip with you. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet during our stay in April. Really nice place to relax and enjoy life.

Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! Beautiful, spacious, clean, modern villa, with a friendly and responsive host

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

A truly unique villa, the views are spectacular and the villa is absolutely stunning. The garden was full of butterfly’s and we picked our own figs, grapes, limes, peppers and tomatoes. The pool was a huge highlight, beautifully designed with both shade and sun. The location of the villa is perfect, both mountain and sea views, very peaceful and there were plenty of lovely places to eat within a 10/15 minute drive. Kostas and his family were really lovely and very helpful. This really is the perfect place to stay.

Our stay was great and we loved every moment. The villa was really clean, looked just like the photos and was perfect for our stay. It was very clean and well equipped. We also felt really safe as it was behind a security gate. The views were glorious and as we had a car everything was very accessible. Elpida was very responsive and helpful from arranging a hire car to recommending beaches. She really cared for her guests and wanted to ensure we had an easy stay which was really nice. Definitely would recommend!

As someone who’s constantly traveling for both work and leisure, it’s rare to come across a place where everything is so well thought out that there’s nothing to comment on, in the best way. This is genuinely one of my favorite stays. The location and views are magical and the attention to detail across the property is impressive. The pool and garden were always perfectly maintained and for a mountain spot, it’s not easy to find such clear, bug-free water. The team on site was great, always helpful without being intrusive. The food at the restaurant isn’t fancy but it’s honest, home-cooked, and made with care. Thank you for everything, I’d definitely come back and already started recommending it to friends.

A perfect cretan get away. Highly recommended. We had wonderful stay there. The property is very well maintained with modern comfort and traditional charm. We were spoiled by warmth and generosity of the host and locals. Really appriciate the care given by Katerina and Maria. Outdoor area is very well maintained and also the highlight of the villa with the beautifull view of cretan landscape. We also love the two resident cats, even named them Razia(brown cat) and Azra(black cat). We will miss them too.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. We stayed for 10 days at Alexandra’s villa and wished we could’ve stayed for more. It was a quiet and stunning location. The villa was really clean and had all the amenities we needed. Alexandra greeted us and had fantastic homemade and local food waiting for us which was well needed after our travels which was very thoughtful of her. Throughout our stay she was extremely helpful with any of our queries and gave us great recommendations for places to visit, eat and shop. We couldn’t recommend her enough. This is a gorgeous villa to rent for couples and smaller families looking to steal clear of busier stays on the island. The only thing we would suggest for people thinking of renting the villa is to not rent a very large car / truck / van as the roads are quite tight in places. Anything larger than what we rented (BMW X1) would struggle in the town but that has absolutely no negative reflection on our host nor Airbnb. All in all an exceptional host and a perfect villa. We had a wonderful stay at Villa Kedria! Along with the amazing view of Chania and Souda, the house was incredibly beautiful, clean, and provided everything we needed for our stay in Chania. The hosts were extremely hospitable and responded to every question and request promptly. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was an extension of their home. They provided all of the necessary baby gear and essentials for our little one, who also had a great time enjoying the pool. We’ve never had more caring and responsive hosts. They gave us so many travel tips and food recommendations that made our stay here in Chania one of our most memorable vacations. HIGHLY recommend staying here!

I cannot recommend this beautiful villa highly enough. We had a wonderful week long stay and it felt like home from home. The villa is very private, set back from the road and has the most stunning view and surroundings. It is very well equipped, and we had everything we needed. The pool is absolutely amazing - our children practically lived in it! There is also the dining area and sofa under the veranda, where you can relax in the afternoon heat and take in the amazing views. Mike was an exceptional host - he was very responsive and helpful and gave us lots of tips of places to visit and restaurant recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa is located a short drive from Almyrida, which has a beautiful beach and several fantastic restaurants that are right on the sea front - amazing views when enjoying your evening meal. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we definitely hope to return one day!

Where do I begin… my family and I were dreading check out. Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The accommodations were phenomenal, everyone felt at home. We woke up to a beautiful sea view every morning and perfect weather. The stay was truly top of the line. Everything we needed was provided and Nikos made us feel very welcome. We cannot wait to return.
