Family-friendly vacation rentals in Dønna Municipality

We were 5 adults who wanted to get to know this area of Helgeland/Northern Norway better. We were not disappointed - despite a few days of rain. The apartment was large with all necessary features. In addition, there is a large patio area on 3 sides of the house, and with a large and warm jacuzzi on the west side of the balcony. Easy access to the dock, and to a big 19 foot boat with a quiet outboard motor. In addition, there was a Garmin GPS with sonar so the trip was safer. Since we arrived in two electric cars, it was okay to charge the cars there. Very good service from both Kenneth and its neighbors! It's easy to recommend this place to anyone seeking tranquility, silence and beautiful nature.

Awesome place! We were three families who had a great time for a weekend at Basecamp Helgeland. Several nephews had been to camp school here, so we were a little excited about what met us…… A fantastic nice host, the place had little camp school burden. Nice rooms and good beds for big and small. The small gymnasium between living/dining room and kitchen was perfect activity place for everyone. We had a great time with fishing, mountain hiking, volleyball, floorball, games and beautiful nature, and would love to come back! This should have been more advertised for. Many we know in the immediate area had not heard of the place, and was wondering if this was the place the kids had been to camp school…. Perfect place for celebrating round days with friends, family gatherings, and more.

Vandve - the island amongst all the other islands. A fantastic experience, we really loved the stay. Gerd-Solveig offered both the hut and the boat house. The boat house, enjoying the evening hours looking at the mid-night sun - amazing colours. Recommend to come by boat or rent a boat, so much to see.

Our party's stay, where expectations were far exceeded. Best summer weather, access to all fishing equipment, protected archipelago for weather, tips, etc. for sea fishing for those who want to try on. Comfortable accommodation with all the convenience. Convenient ferry transportation by car from Tonnes to Selsöyvik, however hard to find the timetable. However, Gunnar has all the info. Glamping at Gunnar's place is worth a trip. Super nice and service-minded host and lovely place. Even in bad weather, we cost ourselves. But set aside more days so there will be time for everything that's on offer.

Cozy home; charming old farm house with original furniture or traditional-looking new electrical equipment. Very nice yard with herbs free to use, outdoor furniture, and a clothesline. Nice walk along the coast directly from the house and a short drive to Peter Dass museum and Seven Sisters mountain chain with great hiking. No place to watch TV and a long drive to restaurants.

We had an amazing time at Albertbrygga and highly recommend this great place! The accommodation is very cozy and friendly, super equipped and in a great location (to the supermarket, to the Yogalåven, to the playground for children, to restaurants like Dønnafjellstua) and to the sea. What we liked most was the great hospitality of Kjersti and Trond. We rented kayaks, used Sauna and visited the newborn lambs - all in all a great time and we would love to come again.

It is a great apartment, even better than the pictures, and a great view from the balcony. The host is nice and helpful. The only challenge is the seagulls making a lot of noise outside the bedroom. If you love hiking, we recommend strongly the seven sisters mountain nearby 👍😊.

Very nice house with everything you need for a good holiday. Two good living rooms, modern kitchens, great views, and a terrace. Very peaceful and nice, and at the same time a short way to the grocery store and restaurant at Oscarbrygga. Easy and good communication with Iren! Recommended!

Randi was a very friendly host and we had enjoyable conversations about ourselves and our time in Mosjoen with her. She definitely made us feel right at home and can certainly provide several food recommendations around the area!

The place is nice and fun. The home is really nice, well maintained, clean and tidy and there was absolutely everything we needed. A great recommendation from here 😊👍
