Had a great short stay, breakfast was - bonus and the location was close to what I needed!

what sold it for me was the very convenient location, which was a 2 mins walk to dongdaemun train station. the room was very cozy and they provided everything we needed, from towels to shampoo/soap/conditioner, water refill station and toilet paper. we had a comfortable stay! the toilet was also spacious and dustbins were provided. it felt safe as well since there are other people staying in the same house. overall great experience! thank you for hosting us :)

Accurate listing, good value for Myeongdong, great location. Easily walkable to the Myeongdong station and shopping area, while also located in a peaceful area. Water sometimes took a while to warm up and wifi connection was spotty, but this didn't affect our stay as we were mostly out and about. The host communicated with us before check-in, and provided detailed self check-in instructions as our flight landed late and we didn't get there until 11 pm. We would definitely stay here again.

They don’t have breakfast anymore, after the COVID, but it is a lot of restaurants and 24/7 shops around. The landlords are wonderful and if you need help they will help you without any problem.

My stay at Tommy‘s hostel was super pleasant! The communication was clear from the beginning and I could even check in earlier than anticipated, which was very helpful. The room was very nice, the only thing is that the blinds were kind dirty (?) on the left corner which showed when you put them down. Apart from that everything was very clean and was vacuumed once a week, I even got my trashbags changed without having to ask. Tommy and his employees were always friendly and tried to help where they could. Another great aspect is the area Jongno which is close to bustling Ikseon-dong but I never had troubles sleeping because of loud noise. You can walk to Myeongdong or Gyeongbokgung Palace in 30 minutes or to the Gwangjang market in 20 minutes. Seoul station can also be reached in only 20 minutes by train which was super convenient. Overall this was a great choice as a solo female traveler. I really enjoyed my stay and wish Tommy and his team the best!

I would definitely book this place again if ever i came back to SK . Though room is not that big (hardly opened our suitcases both ) place is near to MTR and walking distance to Myeongdong night market . A big plus to a breakfast they provide , though not that grandiose noodles, bread , jams , ( coffee is a must every morning ) it really saves a lot for a free breakfast for us tourist . I love the kitchen for its complete kitchen stuff’s . After 4 days of stay and as we will be checking out (to head to Busan) i cooked our breakfast meal early to bring to train . Found also many “kababayans” who also stayed there , we just had short chat during our breakfast . Heads up to the host , who always answers back for your queries . Good job 👍

이번 여행은 친한 언니들끼리 여행을 갔는데, 정말 스키장의 숙소처럼 방 자체가 엄청 따뜻하고 뜨끈뜨끈했습니다. 그래서 1박 2일동안 샤워 안하려고 했는데, 화장실에 창문이 있음에도 불구하고 우풍 하나 없어서 샤워까지 했어요! 하나도 춥지 않았습니다. 부모님들도 좋아하실것 같아요! 이 근처 여행을 온다면 저는 고민없이 이 숙소 다시 예약할거에요.

I’ve had a great resting day with my girlfriend. The host was very friendly. They brought us by car at the bus stop that was 15 minutes away ! I recommend

호스트님들이 너무너무 친절하세요! 그리고 적당한 크기의 마당, 바베큐장, 숙소로 정말 너무 마음에 들어서 날씨 좋은 봄에 다시 한번 올 계획이에요~ 한옥에서 난방 따뜻하게 틀고 등지지면서 잘자고 너무 재밌게 놀다가요~

위치 좋고..주변에 편리하게 이용 할 수 있는 식당,볼거리,공원 그리고 지하철 접근이 200미터 거리에 있어서 강북,김포공항,인천 공항등 교통이 편리합니다. 장기 숙박에도 지루하지 않게 지낼 수 있는 곳입니다

We enjoyed our stay very much. Communication with the hosts was perfect and they were always responsive. Ji Hyun helped us settle in and kindly dropped us off at nearby locations as we didn’t drive. The children loved the play area and the place was very clean and comfortable. It’s probably a more convenient location if you were driving but otherwise this is a really lovely place for a family. Thank you for the hospitality!

여고때 친구들과 30년만에 만남으로 1박 2일 너무 편하고 즐겁게 쉬다 왔습니다. 사장님 친절하시고 청소상태와 간단한 아침서비스, 친절하고 잘생긴 영국인 직원까지.. 근처에 맛집과 위치 안좋았던게 없었어요~ 다음에 기회되면 다시 이용하고 싶습니다~~

Les excellentes notes et commentaires laissés au Bukchon Bikwan sont amplement mérités !! J'aurais mis 6 étoiles si j'avais pu. C'est, de loin, notre meilleure experience de AirBnB et Boutique hotel. Le lieu est extraordinairement beau. L'hanok est sublime, le jardin et la vue d'un charme absolu. Le service est extraordinaire. Soon-Ok, la guest service manager est un ange. A notre arrivée, notre avion avait du retard et nous avons pu replanifier notre diner sans problème. A notre départ nous partions très tot, des sandwichs ont été déposés dans notre chambre pour que nous puissions avoir un petit déjeuner. Soon-Ok est venu nous aider avec les valises, elle s'était rappelé que notre fils aimait les vermicelles coréens et lui a amené un bol. C'était adorable!!! Je recommande vivement le Bukchon Bikwan.

Gute Unterkunft die fußläufig und alle tollen Orte in Hongdae erreichen lassen hat. Wir haben unsere Zeit in der Unterkunft von Daniel sehr genossen und können Sie für Reisende die für einige Tage in Hongdae vorbeischauen wollen nur empfehlen.

The place itself was lovely and so are the people, and the location is relatively convenient if you enjoy walking. Lots to see and do within walking distance. If you plan to explore other parts of Seoul, it might be better to find a place right next to a subway. Also, because of the demonstrations that happened during our stay (outside the control of the AirBnb) it was super crowded and loud late into the night around the area. Also, several streets and subway entrances were blocked and most bus were rerouted making it extremely inconvenient to get around making our stay less enjoyable.

Stayed for the second time in a row in Hongdae, for a long time, and will never ever stop about the absolute kindness experienced at Hithere. Daniel and the team are always making sure you are enjoying your stay, feel comfy and cared for . The Thyrsday thingy is definitely a thing, always fun ! Also the accomodation is very clean, conveniently located and yet not on the main road so provides peaceful environment at nighttime. Will (definitely) come back 😍

The most well run AirBnB I have used. 지헌 is an amazing host; he will make you feel very welcome and takes great care of his guests. The entire place is kept extremely clean and fresh towels are given every day. You cannot ask for a better location either, just a couple minutes walk from Hongik University station.

퇴근후 모여 동네는 어둡고 조용했지만 집안으로 들어갔을때 잘 정돈된 내부와 따뜻함이 집에온듯 편안했어요. 침대도 편하고 이불도 포근해서 잘 잤답니다. 송년회 장소로 골랐는데 구성원 모두 만족했어요

Daniel was super helpful and friendly. I asked for the room on the first floor as my mom had a problem with her knee and he definitely provided us the perfect room 😁 The location is fine, not so far from the station. Recommend this place...really worth to stay.
