Built in 1939, Dongchonjae It's not a fancy hanok. Seoul City and the government (Korea Tourism Organization) have recognized it as a traditional hanok. Dongchonjae has opened its home by a retired couple and has been operating since October 2020. Guests use 4 rooms, living room (Daecheongmaru), kitchen, 2 bathrooms (inside: shower available, outside: small but showerable), Numaru, and yard. Origin is a traditional hanok house located on the stone wall of Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO cultural heritage. Located in the 2nd view of Bukchon, this hanok yard is filled with old trees from Changdeokgung Palace. It is located in a quiet place where you can hear the chirping of birds. There is no inconvenience at all to stay. Bukchon Hanok Village, Insa-dong, Ikseon-dong, and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art are all within a 10-minute walk.

Mini Hanok located 5 minutes from Anguk Station Line 3 is the starting point of Bukchon Hanok Village.
