Vacation rentals with lake access in Djursholm

We just returned after a fantastic week in Fredrik's house on Storholmen, Stockholm. It is a real home with a wonderfully welcoming and personal atmosphere. Lots of books and games and maps and nice places to sit in the sun or shade playing board games and read - both inside and outside. We swam and rowed in Fredrik's boats and ran round the island clockwise and anti-clockwise. A truly memorable and special place. My warmest recommendations!! Claus DK

Jenny's house in Lidingö was truly wonderful! The home is warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated, reflecting the genuine charm of a family living there. The stunning views made our stay unforgettable, and waking up every morning to such a peaceful setting felt incredibly special. Jenny was thoughtful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed to feel right at home. We appreciated all the personal touches and warmth throughout the house—it truly felt like staying with friends. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay at Susanna and Krister's listing. The decor was welcoming and beautifully curated. The outdoor spaces were little slices of heaven we were eager to enjoy. Susanna and Krister were lovely and attentive hosts and we would love to stay here again!

Staying at this lakeside house by Kroksjön was an exceptional experience. The cleanliness was impeccable everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The fireplaces were a highlight. Both the traditional wood-burning and modern styles created a warm, cozy atmosphere in the evenings a perfect way to unwind in the middle of nature. The private hot tub overlooking the lake was absolutely amazing. Soaking in the warm water while surrounded by peaceful nature was incredibly relaxing and added a special touch to the whole experience. The house is surrounded by pure nature, peaceful, serene, and filled with the calming sound of birdsong. Wallbox charger for our electric car was a major convenience. Highly recommended.

Our time at this place was just fantastic! From the first moment, we felt incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness and coziness of the house were outstanding, and the lovingly designed details of the furnishings inspired us again and again. Each room was furnished with so much taste and a sense of something special that it resulted in a harmonious and inviting overall picture – almost like a home away from home. The sauna and fireplace in particular perfectly rounded off our stay and provided unforgettable moments of well-being. An absolute highlight was the snowfall on New Year's Eve, which turned the already picturesque surroundings into a true winter wonderland. This combination of fantastic scenery and exceptional accommodation has made our Sweden vacation just as we had dreamed of it. We would have liked to have stayed longer! My husband and 3 kids loved our stay in Peter’s home in Näsbypark near Stockholm. The house was beautiful, we loved the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. It was a home away from home for our family. We were very close to the train station which took us straight into Stockholm for siteseeing. The neighbourhood was very peaceful and we felt safe there. We were within easy walking distance to amenities and a beautiful lake.

We enjoyed our stay in Kristin's and Anders' beautifully renovated soldier's cottage with the highest possible standard. We loved the hot tub, the dock and the view. Anders and Kristin are dream hosts who fix everything and give lots of tips. I needed a small desk to work at and then they fixed it right away. They also gave us copies, tips on great restaurants and curiosities about the surroundings. Thank you so much! We will come back and can highly recommend this idyllic gem! ❤️

a small, hyper-functional and very well-equipped house. Beautiful views upon waking from the bedroom and magical from the living room. Jorgen is super considerate and responsive. Very good quality bedding and very quiet environment.

We had a fantastic stay with our family at the apartment and immediately felt at home. It was cosy, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location is super central and close to everything. In case we needed assistance we were in contact quickly and helped. I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful place.

The appartment was very well-equipped and perfect for one person during a long stay (one month). Birgitta and Anders are nice and caring hosts; the communication was friendly and easygoing. Issues with the internet connection were shared and quickly resolved. Gribbylund is a lovely neighborhood and the appartement is only 5min from a beautiful lake (which was frozen when I arrived, adding to the overall area's appeal). Walk trails are also available nearby in Täby. Groceries can be done in Täby Centrum (around 40min by foot): a Lidl and KFC are at around the same distance. A ICA store is located closer but I did not check it out. As a note, the ceiling is not specifically soundproof, so bring earplugs if you are sensitive to occasional noise (the main house is located upstairs and the garage is at the door). Peter and Marin’s sea cottage has a beautiful location, with an ever-interesting view of the sea channel into Stockholm. Lovely forest walks nearby. A very memorable stay.

The Sea Cottage was beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a lovely stay. The jetty for me was the stand out though- just sitting with a drink and watching the sun go down. We really enjoyed our stay in tranquil surroundings. Well worth a visit.

We had a fantastic stay. Absolutely loved the location and the space. The lawn is great for a game of Kubb. Could have been left in better condition by previous guests (rubbish not taken out, etc) but excellent value for money.

We spent two wonderful weeks in this fantastic house. Everything was perfect – the house is very well maintained, well equipped and offers a magnificent view of the water. The location on the quiet island is idyllic and yet Stockholm can be reached in only about 40 minutes. Linda and her husband were great hosts: warm, helpful and available at all times. We felt completely comfortable. We can highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time in the Archipelago and in this cozy home. We felt like at Home and enyoied the Garden a lot. Total recommend! :-)

We enjoyed an absolutely relaxing weekend at Olle’s beautiful hut at the lake. Our plan was to escape city life and enjoy nature, which we could do perfectly in the cozy hut. The access to the water and a sauna right next to it was all it took for us to feel like home and we enjoyed the time a lot and we felt like home. Perfect for reconnecting with nature, enjoy the beautiful garden and the amazing company of our two lovely hosts. Very easy going people and are down for a quick and interesting chat when you wish to. Very thoughtful and welcoming!

We loved our stay! The location is beautiful with nice walks nearby. The cottage is very well equipped. The sauna and wharf are picturesque. Ulla and Karl-Gustav are the most fantastic hosts. Very kind, responsive and available but also respect the space. We would love to come back!
