Nandie's place is very nice and modern. It is near a mall with various places to eat and it's a short drive to Port of Spain. It is very accommodating with A/C, WiFi, Cable and the bed is SUPER COMFORTABLE. Great place to stay.

WOW...WOW...WOW!! To say this place is amazing would be an understatement and there is no one word that would describe it all! It is absolutely stunning! Our stay at Troy's beautiful home was simply perfection in every way! it is an absolute must see and must stay and I am honored to be the first guest and write this spectacular review for a place so worth it! The neighborhood: Extremely safe, relaxing, and quiet - a retreat away from all of the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to Port of Spain and Maracas Beach. Nestled in a beautiful neighborhood with mountain views, this place is a hidden gem and we definitely have found a treasure with this one! The host: Troy is awesome, flexible and extremely accommodating! Communication prior to our arrival and during our stay was easy and he was always accessible. We had some changes with our travel dates and Troy was more than understanding and accommodating to our requests, he made everything super easy. We met Troy on the first day we arrived - he showed us the space, gave us the keys, and instantly made us feel as if his home was our home. He checked on us throughout our stay and even met him and a few of his friends out for drinks during the latter part of our stay! Troy is a real cool dude and so happy we got to spend some time to get to know more of him. The space: Incredibly beautifully designed, stylish and modern furnishings with a contemporary chic flair - this place is incredible! Open and airy with the most gorgeous natural light shining through every nook and cranny. Extremely spacious with captivating decor and intriguing pieces of art to visually indulge in. So many areas and spaces to just simply relax, enjoy, and appreciate the true beauty of this home! Every single area brought a level of peace and comfort and we were simply blown away, it was truly love at first sight. The kitchen is a dream!! Equipped with everything...and I do mean everything, for all of your cooking needs. Two large ovens, spacious refrigerator/freezer, gas stove that cooks to perfection, plenty of cabinet space, a beautiful kitchen island perfect for prepping meals with a bonus built in wine chiller! Plenty of utensils, cutlery, pots/pans, and a fancy Ninja coffee maker that served us the perfect brew every single morning! The living room/TV room: sooooo comfortable! Many of days/nights we just chilled and both of these spaces were shear perfection for relaxation and/or conversations! Perfect size smart TV with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. The bedrooms/bathrooms: Roomy and spacious with comfortable and relaxing beds for a restful night. Every room has air conditioning, a TV, and adequate space to unpack and unwind. The bathrooms are beautiful - tiled walls with glass shower doors, one of the rooms has an ensuite which is absolutely perfect. There is also a bonus room/office space with a desk and comfy couch - perfect for work or study. Outdoor area: Large and spacious! We fired up the grill one night and enjoyed the night breeze with a clear view of the stars! The patio is meant to be enjoyed and that's exactly what we did during daytime and night. How do I rate the space and our overall stay? A PERFECT 20 out of 10!! Airbnb only allows up to 5 stars for ratings but Troy's home deserves well beyond that! We were not disappointed one bit - this place does not owe us a thing!! While I would love to keep it all to myself, it would be impossible to not recommend so you too (future guests) can enjoy and experience the same amazingness we did! Troy's place is a hidden gem and we have definitely found a treasure! BOOK your stay...you won't regret a single moment of it! I was looking for a place to lodge while attending the University of West Indies for a week. Traum House was my best option as it was approximately 5 minutes walk to the campus. The property was beautiful as seen in the pictures and meet all my expectations & security requirements- CCTV and was double gated . My room had a safety lock box which I also found useful.The pool was well maintained accessible all the time I wanted to relax. The host was phenomenal , they accommodated my my 6am check in and any requests I had throughout my stay. As a first time traveller to TT , the host took their time and gave me a brief tour around the area and drove to different places (more like a crush course about TT) throughout my stay and even offered to arrange a day to visit Maracas Bay. I was looking for a week stay but I got way more value for my money with their kind hospitality.Will be returning there soon in January and May 2024.

Carrie's place is nestled in a nice quiet spot just a minute away from the North Coast Road. It's close to many popular beaches in the area but feels hidden away. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. As a birdwatcher is was even better! I could sit and look at what must me hundreds of hummingbirds. There were lots of other birds as well: parrots, macaws, tanagers, bananaquits, antshrikes, flycatchers amongst many others. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We opted to have Carrie prepare dinner for us which was priced very reasonably and was absolutely delicious and filling. The included breakfast was no different and included a variety of local fruits. Now for the best part, Carrie and Steve were incredible hosts! They were very flexible with our checkout time, were really friendly and accommodating in every way and made us feel very comfortable and at home. Besides being great hosts, they were also great company, we enjoyed lots of great conversation with them, and I especially enjoyed hearing about Steve's old sailing adventures. We feel as if we made wonderful new friends. Thanks Steve and Carry for making our short stay so great!

My stay at Babsie felt right at home. Very close to the airport and malls. The area is very quiet and peaceful. Both Babsie and Mr. Reid were both accommodating and helpful. I would stay there 1000 times more. 10 stars.

This was a wonderful time it felt like we were staying with our own trini uncles and they were more than generous with all of the accommodations.

A beautiful house in a very safe neighborhood. And the hosts are amazingly nice and accommodating, definitely would stay here again!

The staff was very helpfull and it was good value for the money. It was quiet and felt like home. The internet connection was good and as I was working online during the stay this was important. I give Traum house my best recommendations.

Book it. Just book it. You’ll be glad you did. Our apartment was huge. Freshly renovated. A/C in both bedrooms worked perfectly. Bedrooms are large! Gorgeous bathroom. Comfortable beds and pillows. Lots of storage space! Breakfast foods provided. Great location. Safe neighbourhood. I felt like I was at home. I absolutely loved Shelly’s place. It’s modern, affordable and in a great location. We had one small hiccup with the fridge not working on the first day and within the hour Shelly had a technician there to look at it. I cannot say enough good things about this place or Shelly. I’ve never experienced hospitality like this is in my life. Thank you Shelly. I can’t wait to return!

We hit the JACKPOT with this place! It was central to everything, spacious, clean, had great AC, new laundry machine - and most importantly the best host we’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. She provided so much food and snacks and local suggestions. She was always readily available for questions and did not cut any corners to make sure we were taken care of. I always wondered why people commented on their great hosts, but now I see that they literally can greatly improve an entire stay. She even attempted to help me save a stray dog by making some phone calls to local shelters. She loves her animals, guests, and her country. This place has all you can need - Stay here - you won’t be disappointed.

I had a very wonderful at Cheri air bnb. She greeted upon check in. She was very responsive and friendly. Her family is also amazing and helpful taking us to and from carnival. She provided us with stuff to make breakfast and water. And even went to the grocery store for us. It was my first time in Trinidad and she made the experience wonderful with my stay at her air bnb.

Clean and secure and within walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants. The host was great and quickly responded to any of my questions/requests. I would defiantly book again.

Marcia is a fantastic host and we always look forward to staying with her during our trip to Trinidad. On this occasion, we had to leave some luggage with her for our weekend trip to Tobago and she was very accommodating. She also made sure to help us with kitchen equipment like knives and hot water module when it wasn't working properly. Marcia is always repsonsive and picks up phone calls at any given time. She leaves behind great treats and amenities and we it feels like our home away from home whenever we visit.

We had an amazing time. Monisha and Rajendra were really friendly and helped with so many things in terms of getting to places and recommendations. They made the whole experience great and made us feel like family. The house is spacious and wonderful, but I think the friendly experience is more than worth it and we are truly grateful.

This was my first time staying at an airbnb in Trinidad and my expectations were exceeded. The place was spotless and I felt very comfortable. The pool and outdoor area is very well done, clean and landscaped. Walking distance from the Main Road, major transport hubs, UWI, food and virtually all amenities. Host was extremely responsive, punctual and helpful. I've already made up my mind to stay at Traum House every time I visit Trinidad.

Very close to airport. Possible to walk to airport, although I don't recommend it due to heavy traffic. Taxis are readily available. Gated, secure location with beautifully maintained pool and lovely south Asian details. Sita was a gracious host.

I was pleasantly surprised. Being that it was my first time staying at an Air B&B, everything was to my liking. It was clean, cozy and quiet . A place for relaxation 🙂. Wend is a very nice person, warm and inviting. Definitely a rare find. Will be back for sure.

Ms Deborah and Patrice were amazing! My friend and I were scrambling to find a last minute accommodation after our other one cancelled. Everyone in the bnb was sweet with great energy. Would definitely come back and do carnival again with them!

Carol’s home was by far the most beautiful Airbnb my partner and I have ever experienced. The architecture of the home was immaculate. From the koi pond to the landscaping, the property was breathtaking. Carol and her housekeeper Abina were the prefect hosts. They made sure we had amazing breakfast and afternoon tea options. We were even given a foot massager to use during our stay. Although the property was about 25 minutes from Port of Spain and carnival festivities, Carol made sure to connect us with Steve, our driver during our stay . He was extremely professional and polite. Overall, Carol’s home is the perfect Airbnb for your carnival week stay or for a quiet vacation in Trinidad. It doesn’t get any better than her Maracas Valley property. We will surely be back! :)
