Island Oasis nestled in Trees

WendiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Anne’s place was perfect for the four of us. Her little, newly renovated home was solely ours. It’s clean and inviting. The living room was comfy for all of us. Everything we needed to cook, clean up, games to play. We literally came with nothing, but, it didn’t matter everything we could have ever needed was/is there. Anne and her daughter were welcoming and lovely. They made sure we had everything we needed before they left. I would highly recommend this home away from home.

A beautiful spot with friendly farm dogs that come to visit! It was so nice to hear the sounds of nature going to sleep and awakening. Definitely a place to become one with nature again.

This was the third time staying at this property. My family and I love it. It's a great place to watch the freighters and to just relax. Thank you again to Randy and Doug.

Rustic all season bunkie with lake front view!

DanielleRating, 5 stars10 months ago
I had never been in a bunker/tiny house before. I was amazed at how organized and workable a small space could be. This little bunker is one solid little home. It was well stocked and the twin beds in the loft were very comfortable. It is a loft tho so if you are over 4 foot don’t expect to stand up! Put the kids up there and take the pull out on the main floor! We enjoyed having breakfast on the private deck and was joined by a resident chipmunk who has definitely learned to use his ‘cuteness’ to begging! I had booked two days but called home on an emergency. We were bummed to leave Canada early but will be back!!

Cabin in the cedars with freighter views and beach

SandyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Cabin in the Cedars was exceptional. Comfortable and cozy. We loved watching the freighters and a couple tugboats go by. It was perfect for my good friend and I to hang out and catch up. So quiet! We slept very well in the comfortable beds and we had everything we needed in the kitchen! We explored all of the island and the cabin was a great starting and ending point. We already are planning to return in the spring/summer

Cabin on McCarrels Lake

HenryRating, 5 stars11 months ago
The cottage was just the quick, quiet and peaceful getaway I was looking for. The place was simple and comfortable for one person, with room for more, right on the water and offered an expansive lake with two additional connecting lakes you could kayak to. It was great to take a long swim and nestle back in the cottage with my coffee. My favorite part was waking up to views of the water with birds chirping and sipping coffee. It’s a great place for getting away to write, escape daily life and avoid holiday crowds. Lois was very responsive and we were able to meet and connect on our passion for Hawaii. She provided some nice perks like local coffee and bottled water stocked in the fridge. I hope to be a return visitor to this little gem. Thanks for everything, Lois!
A vibrant sunset showcases hues of orange and pink, illuminating the sky above a snow-covered landscape. Trees line the street, softly lit by the setting sun, while a clear view of distant structures enhances the serene winter scene.

Modern home on 5 acres w/ pond

JonathanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an extended stay through the winter and felt like my own home away from home. The house was incredible and very comfortable. Lydia was very easy to work with. She was flexible on coming and going, and had the house cleaned between stays. She was prompt in responding to any questions and adressing any needs. We have already booked again and hopefully will again in the future.
