The Garden Cottage

This is a charming flint cottage in a gorgeous rural setting. This period detached property offers relaxed, comfortable accommodation with unique character. Perfect for weekend getways or working trips. The property is situated with the grounds of a larger house backing onto meadows with sheep grazing and uninterrupted views of Suffolk countryside. The main living area is open plan with a lovely modern kitchen with table and chairs for eating at. A large leather sofa for relaxing and unwinding looking out onto your own private courtyard. In the bedroom a sumptuous king size bed to snuggle into at night and a delightfully quirky en-suite bathroom await you. In the morning enjoy a breakfast of delicious eggs laid by my chickens as I will leave breakfast essentials for you.

Close to Clare, Long Melford, Bury St. Edmunds, Lavenham and Sudbury. 20 mins to Newmarket, easy access to Cambridge and 2 hrs from central London.

Gorgeous studio barn with high ceilings located in a quiet location with your own private access to a peaceful sunny dog-fenced orchard for your use. I am a superhost. Sitting room area with little Everhot stove, a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a huge shower and a mezzanine bedroom with a handmade bed with beautiful linen and a down duvet. Close to Clare, Bury, Newmarket and Long Melford with walks on the doorstep. Please note I live on the property too so you will see me and my dogs.

Our Cabin offers a cosy independent stay with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, bedroom with super-king bed, luxury en-suite shower and utility with additional toilet. This eco friendly home has air sourced underfloor heating throughout and contains many upcycled items from the exterior reclaimed scaffolding boards to the many repurposed gems to be found inside. Stepping outside there is a private south facing patio and garden with its own parking space, all just a leisurely walk from town.

A beautiful cabin situated in the tranquil village of Chedburgh, Suffolk. Close to Equestrian University. With equipped kitchen, shower and compostable toilet. In a private wooded area with fire pit/bbq. Private access and parking close by. The cabin is situated within the owners 3/4 acre garden, but is completely private. Close to the popular towns of Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and Newmarket. Lots of local walks, bike rides and full use of fire pit for cooking or just relaxing.

A cosy and stylish home near to the town centre

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This little end of terrace house is situated in a quiet little cul-de-sac close to the centre of the historic and beautiful town of Bury St Edmunds - a 10/15 minute walk at most. My home is neat and stylish and always welcoming whatever the season. If you are coming to stay in summer I have a lovely private garden and if you stay in autumn or winter you will find the house particularly cosy. And I have good parking outside too!

Paddock Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful Thatched Cottage, with a lovely garden. Set in the middle of a family Stud Farm, with Mares and Foals in the surrounding Paddocks. The Cottage is within easy access of Newmarket, the home of racing, and the market town of Bury St Edmunds. Cambridge is in easy reach with good train links to London and easy access to Stansted airport. The cottage is set off a quiet country lane with good walking and bike rides to the local villages.

Peaceful garden Studio Room in beautiful Suffolk village of Kirtling only an eight minute drive to the popular town of Newmarket and 30 minutes to Cambridge. The room is equipped with a super king bed (can be made into two single beds) kitchenette, shower room, TV, wifi and all the basics to ensure a comfortable stay. Private parking space and private entrance to Studio Room. Great for a country escape, lovely countryside walks and nearby to good pubs and restaurants.

Newly Thatched Buttercup Cottage, Hartest

Buttercup is a newly thatched cottage situated in the picturesque village of Hartest, Suffolk. A large private garden with a footbridge across the stream leads to the open countryside and endless footpaths. One of which takes you to the superb village pub, only a 4 minute walk away and renowned for its great food and their own brewed craft beers. The beautiful historic market town of Bury St Edmunds, and villages Long Melford and Lavenham are just a short drive away.

Our charming rural retreat has flexible accommodation for 6/7 adults PLUS small children. Modern kitchen & bathroom. Private staircases lead to Bedroom 1 - double bed + single Zedbed on request. Bedroom 2 - twin beds. En-suite WCs to both. The Garden Room is EITHER Bedroom 3 (with kingsize bed OR 2 singles) OR an additional sitting room. Travel Cot available. Sitting Room has a log burner for WINTER evenings. Secure, private, sunny rear garden with lawn and patios.

The house was tastefully decorated in July 2023 and comprises of a full kitchen, king bedroom with shower ensuite and a double bedroom with shower/bathroom to suit up to four guests. Located a 30 min stroll to the Abbey Gardens, St Edmundsbury Cathedral and the many restaurants/cafes of Bury St Edmunds. The house is also only a 30 min walk to the West Suffolk Hospital, so is an ideal base whether it be to explore Bury or to visit patients or work at the hospital.
