Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Dent County

It was our second stay here. It is close to the river area that we kayak. We had 10 guest and were comfy in this home.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Melanie's cabin. It was a home away from home and the perfect location for a weekend fishing getaway. We loved all of the amenities that she had on site. The kids enjoyed reading books, making smores at the fire pit, and playing corn hole after a long day of fishing. Having a pack and play on site allowed us to travel with ease. We would recommend this location and hope to come back very soon!!

We stayed here for a float trip on the Current and loved it! Great location and very peaceful beautiful area. The home felt cozy and was the perfect size for our group. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids. This home is BEAUTIFUL and the pictures do not do it justice. My friends and I would love to come back and enjoy a nice weekend away.

Rod was a great host. He was quick to respond, accommodating, and friendly. His home was clean and in a great location, close to Montauk. We look forward to our next visit.

We stay with Amber every year. They do a great job. The place is perfect for anyone going for a fishing trip at Montauk State Park. They are always flexible and extremely helpful!

James was fantastic! We are locals to the area but are in transition of selling our house to buying property and developing it for us to live one. All that being said a winter storm hit our area. At the moment we are in a camper….we lost power due to ice and power lines down. I thought maybe someone would have an Airbnb around with a wood stove and this one did!!! We got in direct contact with James and he helped us out tremendously! It was nice to see all the wonderful comments about our small town and area in his guest book. It was a cozy, WARM stay. Just what we needed.

Grant's house was perfect for friend's reunion. The beds were all comfortable, the house was very clean, and the property was beautiful to walk around. Montauk state park is an easy 5 minute drive down the road and spending the day fishing was perfect. We would definitely book this cabin again when coming to the area!

The cabin was clean and nicely decorated and had everything we needed, except a second dining chair. If you are going to spend any time in the cabin you'd better love the one you're with, as it is even smaller than it looks in the pictures. The lower bunk can't really accommodate more than one person comfortably. The location is wonderful.

Our stay was excellent at Hobson's Holler. The space was clean and in great condition and easy enough for my family of 9 to sleep in comfortably. Would highly encourage anyone that is looking for a quiet place to stay to stay here.

It was an incredible stay at the Ab Shack! The place was beautiful, both inside the cabin and it's surroundings. The cabin was so well stocked, and you can tell that there was a lot of thoughts and care that went into it. We wanted a peaceful getaway and that's exactly what we got! We absolutely loved and would definitely go back!

Janet was an excellent host! We were greeted by two, kind big dogs and Janet. She gave a little map to the cabin and clear instructions. She was very nice and left pawpaw bread on the counter for us! The cabin was quaint and secluded, very close to the creek where we walked and enjoyed some time. It was a wonderful, peaceful experience for my daughter and me. We will go back!
