A rustic mud brick cottage set on 21ha of river red gum forest. The property is listed as a wildlife sanctuary and is home to a diverse range of birds and animals. Bordered by the Edward River, just a 10 minute walk from the house, the property also features a large dam popular with birds, frogs, kangaroos and wallaroos. If you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of an echidna in the bush or a platypus is the river. There is a boat ramp nearby should you wish to fish or explore the river by boat.

While perfectly suited for couples or single travellers, the cottage is unsuitable for people travelling with pets. Only 8 minutes’ drive from the centre of Echuca, everything is within comfortable reach; but you’ll sleep in the country peace and quiet and probably wake to the sound of birdsong.

The Old Surgery, Jerilderie.

The cottage is in the same grounds as our home. It is within a 2 to 5 minute walk to the swimming pool, squash courts, gym and 5 minutes to the golf club. The shops, parks and lake are a 5 minute walk. We have off street parking and can accommodate a caravan or trailer. Should you need to do some washing we can make our laundry available to you. The cottage has recently been renovated throughout and is non smoking.

After our recent stay this is our recommendation. If you are looking for luxury five ⭐️ resort style accommodation with all the bells and whistles this cottage is not for you but please keep reading. If you are looking for a trip down memory lane this delightful cottage will not disappoint. It is cute cosy comfortable clean with old world charm (it has ducted gas heating) and is situated on a quiet street within close proximity to the heart of Echuca. Although there were only three of us we had also booked the semi detached studio to allow us a bedroom each and I must add that the beds are very comfortable The cottage with its open fire in the lounge room would be ideal for an intimate get a way for a couple or alternatively for three close couples to spend time together. We had a great stay in Wyuna, Victoria. The location was out of town, which made for a peaceful and relaxing getaway—perfect if you're after some quiet time. The renovation of the old church was absolutely stunning and such a unique and beautifully done space. The accommodation itself was spotless, stylish, and really well-equipped with everything we needed. The only downside was the poor phone reception. Highly recommend for a tranquil retreat!

We had such a wonderful stay. The cottage was cosy and lovingly put together and we loved how accomodating Jo was in letting us bring our fur baby. The different spaces within the cottage as well as the beautiful garden made our stay so comfortable. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to stay again!

Mandy's place is really nice, probably better than what the photos show. looks like a fairly new place or been recently renovated and it's not your standard house, clearly a lot of thought went into it. Mandy was very responsive and allowed us to check in earlier than planned once the cleaning was done. I highly recommend staying at her place, definitely 10/10 😊
