Mama Bears Den is the Perfect Location to Visit the Hatfield and McCoy Trails offering access to not only one but two different trail systems (Devil Anse & Rockhouse) within a mile of the property! Devil Anse connects with a Third trial system (Buffalo) offering days of trials with no need to trailer to other locations! Relax on the porch or by the fire pits while cooking on the grills by a scenic creek! While here visit the gravesite or museum of Devil Anse, just a short walking distance away.

We offer a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. One bedroom has two queen beds. The other offers one King bed. There is also a twin size trundle bed. Relaxing stay at Creekside Lodge

Wonderful, homey getaway beside flowing creek with little traffic, less than a mile from the Buffalo Mountain Trailhead. This is not just a place for trail riders but has been used by people attending family reunions and local festivals. Creekside Lodge is within the town limits of Delbarton where there are several restaurants, a small general store, and soon to open Dollar General. Trail riders will pass a local gas station on the way to the trail head.

Not only was the cabin PERFECT so were the hosts. They were so helpful for any local recommendations but also through the really bad weather. This place was the best! The driveway leads you right to it and you’re in your own space. SO private and peaceful! The house was very clean. And was minimalistic yet had everything we needed!! Plenty of parking space. Firewood for a fire. WiFi worked! Homey all around. We will definitely come back asap. 🙂

We had a great time on our trip for the Hatfield-McCoy Marathon. The location was perfect for the race and to get to other local attractions like Matewan and Pikeville. We did not use the location for a UTV trip, but it is set up perfect for a family or guy's trip.

“ Perfect Little Getaway Spot! We loved our stay at this charming little cottage—it was exactly what we needed for a peaceful night away. The place was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Best of all, it was close to beautiful trails and nature spots, which made our short getaway feel like a real escape. Would absolutely stay again!
