Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Delaware

We came for a quick girls weekend and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and homey we felt here. We loved going to the nearby Woodstock museum and a couple of great restaurants in the area. Sadly, the weather wasn’t great but we hope to come back sometime to enjoy all of the amenities that this home and property have to offer!

We stayed at Grandma’s Cottage for my wife’s birthday, and the experience couldn’t have been better. Originally, we had booked another place, but due to some last-minute issues, we were re-booked here—and honestly, it felt like fate. From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the cozy, vintage vibe of the house. It’s like stepping into a charming time capsule, with antiques everywhere—record players, an old stove, typewriter, beautiful paintings, unique clocks, and mini art sculptures. Each piece adds so much character! Sheldon (our host) was amazing. Despite the short notice, he kindly accommodated our booking and even stopped by personally to ensure everything was perfect for us. That extra effort meant so much. We’ll definitely be coming back here!

This house was a great!! My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. Jessica was super nice and helpful. Responded quickly which was a huge plus! Over all a great very welcoming home :)

My family & I spend 5 nights in this beautiful home. We had 4 adults with 3 fur babies. We truly enjoyed our stay. I love to cook & Jane’s kitchen was fabulous and very well equipped. The open fire place was perfect. The outside area was ideal for our dogs to run around safely. Short drive to lots of cute towns. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a great country weekend away.

This home was perfect in many ways. The home itself is bright with sunshine, has a beautifully-updated persona while keeping its mountain cabin charm. The kitchen was well supplied and we were able to cook meals easily. We also enjoyed the selection of books and games during the evening hours. If we still had young children around, they would have loved the fun kid's room upstairs! Plenty of available hiking nearby with a good selection of local restaurants for various libations and meals. Working with Julie was super easy - communications were quick and simple. No problems at all - a very excellent place for a relaxing holiday!

Ruth’s place was perfect for our short getaway to take the kids to learn to ski. Plenty of space and clean. Easy to get to. Would come back next year for some more ski lessons!

Wonderful family time at this beautiful home. Everything you could need was provided, ample bedding, towels, kitchen so very well equipped. Have no negative comments to make, communication was responded too very quickly. Power cut while there and credit given to allow us to go get coffee from a lovely coffee shop called Catskills Coffee which we then visited a couple more times. My daughter who lives in Jersey is already planning on rebooking and I am sure when we visit from the UK we will consider another stay.

We have stayed here more times that I can count. Bob and Jacki's place is a great get-away. Comfortable, cozy and so clean and well stocked for a longer stay. If you see how many times I left a glowing review you will see I mean it since we keep coming back. It is our go to spot when staying in the Catskills. Thank you as always, Bob and Jacki!!

We had an awesome experience! I would recommend staying here! The place was clean and looked just like the photos. It was super comfortable and had a nice ski cabin feel. John was super communicative and helpful throughout our stay.

We loved our time at this beautiful cottage! We have been to lots of Airbnb’s, and most have been a good experience. This cottage was something more. We both felt instantly relaxed when we walked in the door. It was so cozy and comfortable. We slept great in the comfy bed. The pictures can’t describe the feeling of the place. Warm, cozy, peaceful, inspiring, comfortable, quiet and truly rejuvenating. I will be making a trip to the area again as soon as possible, just to stay in this cabin retreat.

We had a great stay. It was a great quick weekend trip out of the city. This was our first time upstate and the location of Donna’s home was perfect. We had such a great time and would love to come back in the future.

Highly recommend this place. Dave was extremely responsive, informative, and friendly. There is plenty of room, and everything was very clean and tidy. The restaurant beneath the space is not only convenient, but the food was excellent as well. The surrounding area is very scenic, and is ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was great! It really felt like home, We enjoyed our time staying in Scranton . Everything was clean and spotless Esther was super nice we will definitely book with her again in the future:)

Pristine clean, cozy, one bedroom condo unit located in Windham with seasonal access to tennis courts and a pool. Walking distance to the beautiful Windham Path. Slept better than at home in the comfy bed. Went for two days of midweek remote work. Agnieszka, the host, was gracious and responsive. The host obviously put some genuine TLC into this place and it shows. Browsed for books at Briars & Brambles, an indie bookstore in Windham adjacent to Windham Pharmacy. Purchased groceries and firewood down the road at Hickory Hill Market . Ate in area at Higher Grounds and Windham Diner. Living room has a fireplace with large screen TV just above. Great for all seasons. Thanks Agnieszka!

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was VERY clean, full stocked with all of the needed essentials and in a great location right by the ski slope. Both the bed and pull-out coach were SUPER comfortable. All instructions were super clear, and the recommendations were perfect. Thank you for letting us stay at your place, we love Mountain Creek!

Great place! Easy to check in and enjoyed the heated garage. It was super convenient to get to the room as well.

My children and I had a wonderful time! The unit was immaculate, the views were lovely, and there was plenty to do at the hotel. Paul was the best host! We had a car issue and had to extend our stay. He was polite, quick to respond, accommodating, and he took excellent care of us whenever we had any questions or concerns. We are looking forward to visiting again!
