Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Del Norte County

Fantastic! Couldn't have been happier with this place. Our dogs loved the space. Of note, there is not a fenced in area or deck space so you need to keep your pups on a leash at all times to ensure they don't run into the road. Even though the road is rarely used, there are some blind corners so keep everyone safe and happy by keeping your dog on a leash!

This is a beautiful and very clean home. I would guess that it’s the nicest neighborhood in the entire city.

Joyce's place was spacious, very homey, and immaculately clean. The hot tub felt fabulous after our long days of hiking and exploring. Not only are there so many extras provided in the house, but all the drawers and cupboards and closets are labeled with what they contain, which saves time searching. The kitchen had everything you could want. The washer and dryer were really nice to have. The garden area in the backyard is totally private. Although we didn't sit outside (super windy during our stay), it was a pretty area for soaking in the hot tub. Joyce was very communicative before and during our stay. Joyce's a super place and I would highly recommend it if you need a place to stay in Crescent City!

Great stay for a quick trip to the Redwood Forest. Joel left us fresh eggs & bagels & drinks which was super appreciated. The stay was cozy & exactly what we were looking for!

Gorgeous location overlooking the ocean, with a short walk to the beach. Accommodations were comfortable and Shawn was a very proactive and communicative host. It's on our list to visit again.

This is our second time staying. Never disappoints. Beautiful ocean views, comfy beds, relaxing hot tub and extremely welcoming host! Love this home away from home!

We were looking for a location near the beach, within walking distance and this spot was perfect. Our side window looked directly over the ocean. Heaven! I loved all the little things Susan did to make us feel at home. At check in we had bananas, granola bars, microwave popcorn and coffee available. Inside our unit she had pancake mix, syrup, coffee and tea available. We felt like we stepped back in time with what appeared to be a former motel turned into individual rental units fully equipped with a kitchenette and back porch. Susan’s detail to lovely decor similar to my mom’s 70’s home was endearing. If you’re not looking for glammer and glitz but a comfortable, affordable beach front stay, this is a perfect spot.

Sea Escape is an amazing experience at an incredible price! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds are high quality, the shower is clean and very efficient, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The best part of all is the easy and quick access to a wonderful beach that is pristine and where you feel like you have the whole beach to yourself. I am very pleased with my experience and I plan to return! Brent

We absolutely love the Sea Escape. we have returned many times, and have never been disappointed. This time we rented all 6 rooms to host family members to stay at for a destination wedding in the Redwoods. We had group meals at the picnic tables, with food cooked on the grills and in the rooms. We had all the cooking equipment, plates and silverware necessary for these meals. Susan was gracious, and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be back, as will our family members. This little gem is not fancy, but it is always clean, quiet, and welcoming. you can't beat the view, the beach access, and the proximity to the big trees.
