Really enjoyed holiday get away . Place was located near water with great views. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood was quaint. The town was was pretty with water on each side with the Christmas lights at night . We truly enjoyed our relaxing stay . Would definitely book again

This was a great stay for a weekend away to celebrate my birthday with my husband. It was very quiet & peaceful, and the view was beautiful. We wish we could have spent more time outside to enjoy it, but it was just a bit too chilly. We did have an opportunity to sit by the fire pit and watch the swans! We found some good restaurants not too far away and overall we were very happy with everything. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome!

Great location at Chincoteague! Very clean, and amenities in this home are great! Kitchen is fully-stocked with all the basic necessities to be able to make home-cooked meals, even on vacation. My 5-yr old appreciated the toys and books available. My husband appreciated the milk steamer on the coffee machine. I appreciated the indoor wood shutters on the windows. Chip and Courtney is also very proactive and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again when visiting Chincoteague in the future.

This place is everything you need and nothing you don't. It's minimal and simple - a true tiny home! But we enjoyed every minute of it. The setting against a wildlife area was amazing, we had great privacy from the other homes in the area, the deck was spacious and the fire pit was perfect. Inside everything was clean and comfortable. The back roads to Assateague were gorgeous! The best part was that we had our dog along for the ride too and it was still an affordable stay. Great value!

Very good spot for a small family trip to Tangier (I came alone, so it was more than enough.) The house is spotless, and Travis has some extras there for his guests (coffee, water, fishing rods, board games for young kids on a rainy day.) Travis also sent me the phone number for an evening ferry off the island, which was extremely helpful. I had a great stay at Travis' place, and would stay here again. I hope to soon.

We’ve Thought of Everything So You Can Relax!

If you want to get away from it all and feel right at home, this is the place to be. The house is beautiful, the rooms were all spotless and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped. I also loved the little porch and porch swing with a view of the pond. The beach and some good hikes (to see the ponies) are just a short drive away. Check-in was super easy with a personalized code. Michelle always responded immediately to any question we had. We really enjoyed our stay on Chincoteaque Island. It's unique place.

Sea Glass Cottage was a delight! The house was very clean, bright and totally charming! Doris has everything you could need for a couple nights or extended stay. I would suggest everyone who stays read her "Welcome" book. She has great suggestions for dining, sightseeing, art galleries, etc. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is VERY large. Onancock is a fun, charming town to visit. We will definitely return and, if Doris will have us, we'll be staying at Sea Glass Cottage. Thanks Doris for a great visit! Cheryl and Jerry

Sadia’s home on the river is a beautiful home in a very private and serene location. The house has been beautifully renovated for today’s comforts but it oozes with historical charm. The bedrooms worked out well for our needs for 5 adults. The house had a large kitchen for gathering, a cozy den for board games, a screened in back porch, and a lovely dock to sit by the water. We also enjoyed the fire pit while taking in the amazing stars. It really is such a special location. Kilmarnock is not too far away and offers shops snd restaurants but be aware that most businesses are closed on Sunday so do your town exploring on Saturday. We did run into a major plumbing issue upon our arrival. Sadia was extremely responsive and had a contractor at the house within an hour. Unfortunately the issue was not easily resolvable during our stay so we had limited water usage. Sadia was very easy to work with and we received a credit for our stay. It is truly a lovely home with a wonderful host.

I loved my stay at Barbara's little cottage, it is just the right size for one or two people and the kitchen is great , fully equipped, so I can prepare meals. it is local to Chincoteague National Park and to restaurants and gift stores. Barbara surprised me with a small gift under a small lighted tree as it was near the holidays and was very helpful with my every need. I will definitely stay again here next time I come!

Christy's house had everything needed for a two night stay or even a month long stay. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood about a 1/2 mile walk to downtown, but just down the street from the water. The house has a really cozy and screened outside space which is perfect during summer. Overall, the house is small but lives large.

We thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable, peaceful stay in this house and took advantage of the waterfront for fishing off the dock and canoeing in the bay. The open plan kitchen and family room were great for relaxing and the picture windows were spectacular. While the kitchen is well equipped for home cooking, we highly recommend a visit to the Merroir Tasting Room and Deltaville Tap & Rawbar.

Fantastic location! The place is sparkling clean & great for a family stay! Fully equipped with everything you need! Walkable distance to the beach and the best of it all is the golf cart rental offered! So worth it! Very close to shops & restaurants! We stayed for a week over Thanksgiving 2024. Keith and his wife were there to meet us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house. Very nice people. It's an older house, but it's in good shape. We felt at home once we unpacked. The beds are VERY comfortable--we slept great. Good internet connection. No troubles with any fixtures or equipment. One bathroom is quite small, but we made it work. Convenient to restaurants and shopping--there's a Texas Roadhouse, a Chinese restaurant and a Walmart across the street, a grocery store one stoplight away. Also convenient for us because family lives in Fruitland within a 5 minute drive. The house is on a main road, but we never had trouble making left turns out of the driveway. Turn right and you're a few minutes from the bypass, turn left and you're a block from the main business route through Fruitland and Salisbury. It was a good place to stay.

A spacious home by the water. We celebrated Thanksgiving at this location and it was very special. The views are beautiful, had a fire right by the water and relaxed by the beach. A perfect getaway with family and friends. It has everything you need, the living room is super comfortable and great to relax with the family. The kitchen was spacious making it easy to cook and entertain the family. We loved the hot tub, playing pool and having family dinner. Overall a fabulous experience!! Great host- great communication. Highly recommend

Lots of space inside. Kitchen well furnished, with new appliances. Bathrooms were spacious, both with huge walk-in showers. Water temperature was lukewarm, at best. Water heater needs adjustment. Bed configuration was strange. Master bedroom had two single beds, with no flexibility to put beds together. Only one TV in 3 BR home. Overall great accommodations, away from busy streets and noisy neighbors.

This is a super cute place right on the water! It’s arranged in a way that feels comfortable and maximizes the space. It has everything you need! We loved staying here with our dog and one year old. The beach is a very easy walk and watching the sunrise on the deck is magical. Don’t miss the kind of hidden second bathroom tucked in with the laundry, it’s very handy!
