Starting from the beginning... ☺️ Communicative and helpful host. He responded quickly to messages. We got recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. We rented two cottages that were next to each other. Everything about them was adequate. We were delighted with the playground, a barbecue area with the possibility of cooking in a cauldron. An additional advantage was the children's playroom - equipped with beautiful, new wooden toys for boys and girls. The kids spent a lot of time there because it was cool when it was 34 degrees outside.🌡️🌞 The cottages also kept at a pleasant temperature. The place is fenced and children could be outside by themselves. There were bikes, scooters and running bikes in different sizes available. The place is a good location to nearby thermal springs💦/ use of pools and to visit the wineries 🍇🍷 We highly recommend this place and host 🌻🇭🇺 🥰

We booked for a week and it was great! We had great and very nice neighbors which made our stay easier. We went for a few hikes, enjoyed pool days and did some sightseeing. There are quite a few good restaurants in the neighborhood! The kitchen was big and very well equipped for cooking for 9! Also the BBQ outside is a nice plus! We have only one recommendation for this stay and that’s the availability of fans. There were no fans which was quite hot with 35degrees outside. Except for that we have no comments! The house was lovely, on a hillside with the forest adjacent. The stairs to the bedroom were a bit intimidating, but were fine once you were used to them. As a very tall person I learned to duck my head at the right time! The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. There was some very heavy rain while we were there, so we needed to stay in for a whole day, but it was fine. Bükkszentkereszt is an interesting village and there's a good walk up to an observation tower with great views. Lillafüred is also worth a visit, with a waterfall and forest railway. Don't take the direct road to Miskolc - it's in a really bad state. We turned around and came back! A lovely stay - thank you, Karolina.
