This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights during our time in Crete and absolutely fell in love with the place. The home is so cozy and has everything you need from the moment you walk in. Maria was super helpful and made sure we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. Set in a rustic village with amazing views of the skyline, this place is one you should book for sure. Super close to the town of Rethymno, with many shops, restaurants, and beaches a short drive away.

the location - a dream. the view - unbeatable. The house cut for 3 couples - ideal. the architecture - really appealing. and problems (sandstorm) were immediately addressed and resolved! we recovered very well, and can really highly recommend this accommodation!

We had a fantastic time. The villa is stunning and had just been freshly renovated. Everything about it is designed to maximize the beautiful views, the airflow, peace and tranquility. The hosts were communicative, kind and generous with flexible check-in and out. The fantastic pool area, stonework, bathrooms, kitchen, linens, sauna/steamroom, washer & dryer, game room -- all were top quality. This was easily the most beautiful AirBnb we have ever stayed in. It was a good home base for exploring Crete. We were also happy to save one day for relaxing at the villa. We were only a family of four, and the villa could have easily held twice as many. Would love to return one day. Made wonderful memories here.

We booked this villa as a treat for our 40th and our first holiday in 15 years without our son. The villa was absolutely beautiful and the hosts were lovely. They had made us a Greek salad on our arrival and had provided us with milk eggs wine and fruit. They even made a beautiful marble cake as we had a thunderstorm and everything was covered in sand so they had to come a second day to clean the pool and outside area so we could use it.. Eftychis and his mum also provided use with restaurants and site seeing destinations like the botanical gardens which were well worth visiting.. We tried to book the villa again this year but they are fully booked. So we will be looking to book again next year.. It is absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit..

We stayed for 1 week (4adults and 4 kids) having been to Crete a number of times before. The villa was up in the hills (you need to hire a car to get anywhere and driving on the small lanes is not for the faint hearted) but this gave us the beautiful views over the bay and a lovely sea breeze. The house was immaculate with all the essentials and mod cons including chilled filtered water from the fridge. The ice machine didn’t work so one of the team popped around with a big bag of ice the next day which we used instead. We also experienced a sandstorm (happens about once a year) with Saharan sand being deposited on everything. The cleaners were around the next morning and the pool was cleaned beautifully. The pool itself was heated to a lovely temperature so the kids could enjoy it all day and the hot tub was even warmer so the perfect place to sit and enjoy drinks. We used the outdoor built in barbecue and sat outside for dinners (great views). Karolina was very responsive! Recommend!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. We had a great vacation in the house. It was all clean and tidy. The pool is amazing and the yard is indulgent. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. The service was more outstanding. We had a perfect vacation for us. I highly recommend the house and hope to stay again.

Outstanding views, 5* accommodation with hosts that go above and beyond and can’t do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Recommendations of local places to eat. If you can, take use of the local chefs to come in and cook for you. Family of 7 cost us €280 as a guide without drinks and was beautiful food. The villa is spacious and relaxing and perfectly placed to walk into plaka and short drive to almyrida beach with beautiful fish tavernas and water activities. Party of 3 boys (15,15 and 12), my husband and I and his parents it was the perfect house to have our own spaces but still come together. The photos do not do the house justice at all. The outdoor kitchen, outside bath and jacuzzi plus all the outdoor terraces to each room are spectacular. Enjoy, you won’t be disappointed. Hope to be back again one day. Beatiful view and nice downstairs appartment with own pool and yard. Parking lot had always room for our car. From parking lot there are deep stairs down to the appartments yard. We came late in evening and it was little bit difficult to get in without light on the appartment door. Pool was great for swimming and view fo Chania and sea bay just amazing. If you have lot of electronic devices with you, take a power strip with you. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet during our stay in April. Really nice place to relax and enjoy life.

Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! Amazing home.

The villa was fabulous with amazing sea and mountain views and so much more space (bigger than we expected). Very quiet which was what we wanted and so you need a car. Lovely beaches and tavernas not too far away. Host and house keeper were very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful villa inside and out - loved every minute of our stay there. It's an excellent location for lovely village of Mochlos and there's a bay where you can swim to left of harbour. Marilou was always on hand with any recommendations etc we needed. Only negative is we didn't realise that the bedroom with its own entrance is actually in a basement so very little natural light. Didn't bother us but does mean you don't see the beautiful views. Can imagine it keeps cooler in peak summer though.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and private villa with a truly spectacular ocean view. The perfect setup for our extended family (6 adults and 2 small children), offering plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The bedrooms were comfortable with en suite bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook at home. The kids especially loved the pool and all the toys available. We enjoyed local meals at Maxis Yard (a charming spot in the nearby village with pottery and homemade food) and Fisalida, which has a stunning ocean view. Both within walking distance. Grocery shopping was easy with both Lidl and the village shops close by. Our host went above and beyond—meeting us for check-in during Easter holiday and even doing grocery shopping for us beforehand as everything was closed. He surprised us with homemade dinner of delicious moussaka and Greek salad, which made us feel so welcomed. We left feeling relaxed and very tempted to return one day.

Absolute 5* property and host ! Cant recommend this property enough! Absolutely stunning upon arrival, the property exceeded our expectations even from the pictures ! Alexios is a fantastic host, made us feel welcome straight away and showed us all the details on the property, his local Taverna recommendations were great too ! Provided us with a lovely welcome basket with Local olive oil and wines etc. We couldn’t fault the property at all, stunning design and finishes, absolutely everything you would want for a stay in beautiful Crete. Wished we could have stayed longer in Alexios property, you cant get bored of sitting on the roof terrace or in the pool looking at that view! Some local Tavernas within walking distance that are very nice and worth a visit. Highly recommend this property and Alexios as a host ! We will be back to stay again for sure. 5*

Fantastic great house with a lovely terrace and a lovely view. Our two young children loved the pool. The house and location were even better than the pictures. It was a short distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and it was nice to be able to barbecue outside in the evenings. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at this beautiful villa in Crete. The welcome was incredibly warm and kind, and everything exceeded our expectations. The villa is stunning — spacious, tastefully decorated, and perfectly clean. The terrace and private pool are amazing, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. The bedrooms were sublime, with very comfortable beds and stylish interiors. A special thank you to Nikos, who was absolutely fantastic with us — kind, helpful, and always available. We truly appreciated his hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you for everything!

The house and views were beautiful. An out of the ordinary sandstorm rolled in and the owner immediately came to clean the outdoor area. She was very responsive and attentive. The house had everything we needed to cook breakfast. There are very few walkable places, but if you have a car, it is no problem. We would return, it was perfect for our group of 6.

wow! wow! wow! If we could give 10 stars we would. We had the most amazing stay at Villa Lucrezia. The villa was extremely clean, well stocked with linen and we also received a bottle of wine and fruit basket upon arrival. The pool was fantastic, and we highly recommend getting the pool heating as we really enjoyed having a dip at night too. Dimitris was an outstanding host and made sure all our needs were catered to. We also really enjoyed the Sauna and the Hammam!!! Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

Nikos was an excellent host! He brought us fresh goodies and made sure we had everything needed. The home is beautiful and exactly has pictured. I recommend renting a car if you stay here as it is quite desolate location and not walkable to restaurants/shops.

Our stay at the Moundros luxury villa was a perfect place for the five of us girls to feel like we are at a private retreat. It was easy to get around with a car and the hosts were very helpful when it came to any recommendations. the home was super nice and clean and had the best views. the restaurant down the street is absolutely delicious. Meatballs and stuffed mushrooms were my favorite but you can’t go wrong with anything! We were able to easily explore the other parts of Crete and got the best of the mountain side and the city side. would highly recommend staying in this villa!

The accommodation and especially the views are really a dream. You have absolute privacy, it is wonderfully quiet and by car you can reach the nearest town in about 5 minutes, where there are some restaurants and supermarkets. We rarely had a kitchen that was so well-equipped. Nikolas was the perfect host and always immediately available.
