What an amazing place. The anti - boutique art cafe is something to experience. When so many places are being turned into “luxury living “ boxes it was delightful to stay in a 500 year old property with all its charm and quirks. Coming home at night to our own a bar was fun. The bed was extremely comfortable and the access to art materials was a real bonus to my artist husband. The kitchen has lots of equipment and the water in the shower has high water pressure and heater only takes a short time to produce VERY hot water. Once the inner door is closed the apartment is very peaceful. Communication with Spiros was excellent. It’s difficult to suggests any improvements. Maybe more pillows. We would appreciate a washing machine but understand this is extra cost. Be aware the cleaner next door sometimes spills water from the balcony into the garden. Just sit to the left. Oh I don’t forget to try the restaurant next door. Thank you Spiros for a lovely stay. A great way to end our 4 weeks.

Excellent!!! Such a lovely host - you will feel welcomed and well taken care of. They had everything I needed ready for my toddler son to feel comfortable in a new space. The view was so lovely to enjoy mornings and evenings. The place was pristine and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here when I return to Chania.

Beautiful views, clean, spacious place and super nice host.

What a gem! The location is right at the harbor with a nice balcony overlooking the square. It’s the perfect location to enjoy the scenery, walk to many historic sights, wander through the streets of the Old Town, and countless restaurants. It’s also walking distance to the main bus station. The rooms are as beautiful as the photos show and you can see Iosif has taken time to create a comfortable and tastefully decorated place for guests. Fully equipped and the host kindly left us fruit, cookies, and a local wine. Iosif is great with communicating the check in instructions (with photos) and answering all questions. Highly recommend you stay here!

Jenny is such a wonderful person and a fantastic host! The room was very clean, had a comfortable bed, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a few days in Chania. Not to mention it has a beautiful view! Please note you need to be able bodied to stay here as there are 3 flights of stairs up to the apartment - but this was not a problem for us. The apartment was about a 20-30 minute walk to Chania town, and it was a beautiful walk along the ocean. Jenny was so kind and helpful, responded so quickly to messages and gave us many local recommendations. Thank you Jenny!!! We had a wonderful time. :)

Beautiful place and great host

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Giannis was an excellent host. He welcomed us with a warm pastry, fresh fruits, wine and bottled water. The apartment had everything we needed. The location was perfect. We had a car and having our own parking space was fantastic. We traveled to different areas of the island and it was a convenient home base. Giannis gave us several recommendations from restaurants to beautiful beaches, and they were all great. We especially enjoyed the terrace. It has a beautiful view of the sea and it is very peaceful. We watched the sunrise a few mornings and it was breathtaking. A highlight of the stay was Hamlet, Giannis dog! He was there to welcome us and visited us daily. We would not hesitate to stay there again. It is a beautiful place and you won’t be disappointed.

We felt very comfortable. Great amenities, super clean, one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed in. The view from the balcony is fantastic and very relaxing. It's very quiet. You can really switch off. Massimo and his wife are very hospitable. We felt very comfortable. If we come to Crete again, we will definitely come back here. Just the right apartment to relax and unwind.

Well located to get around the West and Southwest, and within a reasonable distance of Chania in the evening. A rental outside the city preserving noise pollution, too much heat, and pleasant in the morning. Quality clean furniture and bedding. Michalis is very dedicated, proactive and offers good advice. An excellent overall impression!

A great ,spacious, quirky botique 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of the old city of Chania. Very clean with all the amenities, large comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The good wifi and a washing machine were crucial for us. Best of all is the location which is on a lovely, narrow pedestrian cobblestone street in the old town. Restaurants galore and a 5 minute walk to the gorgeous harbor area. Of the 3 Crete cities ,Chania Rithymno, and Herakliona, Chania was the most beautiful and well kept. The best of the 3 to use as a base(We did day trips to the other two towns.) Gannis was abroad, but his friend Christina was so nice, and helpful .She met us where we parked the car and led us through the old town to the apartment.

We had the best time staying at the apartment. We were two adults and a child and it was perfect for us. Everything was exactly as in the pictures and the apartment is even bigger than I expected. Especially the beautiful patio. The small kitchen is well stocked and we had everything we needed. One can hear the road, so just bring your earplugs if you think it may bother you. There are mosquitoes nets and shades/curtains on all the windows which allowed us to keep them open at nights and sleep longer in the mornings. Other than the apartment itself, Pinelopi is the best host I have ever met on Airbnb. She took care of everything we needed, even before we asked. We felt right at home with her and we're very sad when it was time to go. We will always be happy to come and stay here again!

We had a great stay at Michalis'! The location of the property is ideal, with beautiful views and a quiet environment. Michalis and his son welcomed us warmly, even though we arrived a little later because we had taken the more beautiful route through the city of Rethymno. A carafe of raki and chilled water were waiting for us as a welcome – a very nice gesture from Michalis. We especially enjoyed breakfast on the balcony, overlooking the Cretan sea and surrounded by chickens, ducks, cats and the friendly dog Bruno. Our son was thrilled and would have liked to take all the animals with him! The house itself is large, cozy and perfectly equipped and we felt completely comfortable. Michalis' father even surprised us with fresh eggs, a really loving touch. Overall, this place is a place to relax and enjoy. We will be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

Absolute bliss. This house is in the beautiful Topolia, a small town on the road to the popular Elafonissi Beach. The actual house is perfect—clean, save, good bathroom, kitchen and stunning view. The bakery and taverns in town are amazing. Much better food than near the beaches. Try the classic crete food and enjoy the wonderful view.

Very nice place to stay, with really great amenities. It is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. There was already a very good selection of food, as well as lots of fresh fruit and water. Check-in /out via key box very straightforward and flexible. Our absolute highlight, the roof terrace with the fantastic view. The communication with the owner was flawless. Thank you, Fanis

May 2025, 10 nights stay for three (2 adults, 1 toddler). Villa is really fantastic. Beautiful views of the sea and the bay. It offers a lot of space for more people (2 couples, 4-6 friends, 2 families) and for longer stays (storage space, cabinets and shelves, etc.). The equipment corresponds to the description and offers, even in the kitchen, everything you can need. Our highlight was the covered terrace. Our flight was moved up at short notice. A significantly earlier check-in was not a problem at all in our case. Stelios is a very friendly, helpful and dedicated host. We recommend him and his villa without restriction. Small limitation: the accommodation is a bit off the beaten track or the region is a bit scattered (mainly due to the geography of the area). Without your own car, it will be a little difficult in our opinion. However, there is a free parking space right by the house.

If you love a vacation off the beaten track, away from the crowds of tourist resorts... this is your place. The house is located in a small village attached to the rock with stunning views of the Rokka gorge. The terrace you'll share with other guests is perfect for enjoying breakfast or an aperitif. Be aware that there are cats that come looking for food... for those with allergies... Marianna provided us with food for the first night and was always responsive to any questions or problems. Rokka is the ideal place to explore the beaches of the northwest of the island and Chania. The southwest beaches are at least an hour's drive away. We're taking beautiful memories with us Thank you.

Eleftheria, Gianni's wife, gave us a lovely warm welcome and gave us lots of useful information about the area on the first day. The flat overlooks the marina and so has a wonderful view. Perfect location, well equipped kitchen and would highly recommend. We had a great time in Agios Nikolaos.

Beautiful spacious apartment with great modern design and with a unique sea view from the balcony (sea only about 20 meters away). Everything you need. The landlord is extremely friendly and always available. We felt very comfortable. There are lots of good restaurants in the area, all within walking distance. The free parking by the sea was also perfect. From there, you only need 5 minutes to the apartment. The beautiful bar near the bedrooms was always well attended and accordingly it was loud there until late at night. It's a matter of taste, but the beds were too hard for us. Otherwise, absolutely recommended! We felt very comfortable and always had a cozy breakfast on the balcony.

We had a lovely but short stay at Valia’s very spacious apartment for our family of 5. The wrap around balcony was a treat and the rooms stayed cold and dark to allow us to sleep off our jet lag. Nice and close to old town Chania and lots of spots nearby for coffee/wine and pastry!

I‘m more that happy that we decided to stay at Dimitri‘s place. He ish very kind and helped us right away, if we had any questions. The location is peaceful and has a great view. The beach is not far away and the size of the apartment is just perfekt for a single person or a couple. I will definitely visit again.

We had amazing few days staying here. The apartment is beautiful and clean, in a great location, out of the way enough from the busy centre but just a short few minute walk to Chania town centre and the beach. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

From the start, Sia and her husband were very warm and welcoming. At check-in, they walked us through the apartment, which looked exactly like the photos. The view is fantastic from the front balcony. Everything was very clean. Loved that there were electronic blinds for most windows. We rented a car and there was a parking spot available for us in Sia's garage. We did find the bed a bit too hard for our tastes (to each their own!), and we sometimes had trouble with the wifi dropping in the main bedroom. Overall, we loved Sia's place and would stay there again!

We had a lovely stay at Sofia and her father Georgios' apartment - we particularly enjoyed the 2 balconies and the great location for the city centre. Good view over similar height buildings all around on three sides (5 floors with small lift). There was a delay replying to messages 2wks before (important as wanted to confirm they knew we were due to arrive late) but once that was sorted Georgios was lovely, meeting and chatting to us even though we arrived at midnight and providing a baby pram and cot. The apartment was as described and well looked after, though some doors were hard to shut, both bedroom black-out blinds bit stuck (so light) and some fittings from the 70s. It would have been good to have some bottled water on arrival (as we didn't want to drink tap water) but lots of condiments, shower gel, washing machine etc provided. A few mosquitos, initially none, after we watered the plants (in Oct) but good aircon in 3 rooms. It was good value and I would book again.
