Arno's place greatly exceeded our expectations. He communicated with me regularly leading up to our stay, and he was waiting for us when our ferry arrived at Samal to drive us to his place, which is a little off the beaten path (a very good thing). I don't think Arno's pictures fully do his place justice. It's lush, immaculately landscaped, and well planned out, with paths leading to each of the homes, swimming pool, and clubhouse. The house we stayed in (Mars, you'll notice a theme) was well stocked, spotless, and had cold AC in the bedrooms. Our young nephew really enjoyed the pool, and we enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We opted to have Arno's staff prepare our meals, which were all great. Arno's wife took us on a tour of the island, including waterfalls, Kaputian Beach, and the famous bat caves. Arno, his wife, and their staff were all wonderful and made us feel at home. I highly recommend Arno's place to anyone looking for a quiet escape from the city.

house is very roomy and comfortable had a good stay there ..host has a caretaker on site was very helpful for us . overall I recommend this place if you coming to see family 😄

This place was perfect for our family reunion, we were able to enjoy the beaches of Samal island and then come back to a private and peaceful home! Lydia communicated well and and catered to all our needs. Definitely recommend for big groups!

it's our 2nd time here in this cozy house,they have there own solar panels Incase there's a sudden brown out. Very accommodating and responsive as well .

For people who loves snorkeling, this is the place to be. Also, lyn is the best cook considering our vegetarian diet she manages to make us awesome dinner and breakfast. Thanks so much! Will different coming back.

Our Samal tour was even more memorable because of the place we stayed in. It was clean and the vibe was very welcoming even the care taker. The amneties is complete and kung ano ang sinabi sa descrition yun talaga ang house. I would really reco the place!!! 💛

Host is responsive as well as staff. No strict rules about checking in and check out. Place is 2-3 mins away from high way.

Great stay clean and comfortable. Only feedback I have is that upon arrival one is made to sign a 2/3 page contract which includes a list of all items in the house and cost to replace it. Ofcourse after a long travel the guest will not be interested to check the list of items in the house to confirm it is actually there before signing. I signed because i was tired and wanted to rest. Checkout was smooth.

Provided a transportation to us which is very convenient since we arrived 12am in the barge. Ms. Naomi and her team are very accommodating as well! Will definitely go back here and suggest to my friends!

We had a wonderful time staying at Rudi and Annabel's place and would have liked to stay longer! The room was very clean and there is everything you need. In general, the place looks much better live than in the photos, which was a nice surprise. So if you don't want a hotel, then this place is highly recommended as it is very European standards. Communication with Rudi went well, although he is in Germany. He especially gave us valuable tips on how to get there, especially from Davao. Since the house is not located directly on the main road, it is above all not so noisy. There are numerous excursion options all around, where we were able to benefit from Rudi's expertise. Thank you Rudi and his brother-in-law on site, who was in charge of check-in/check-out. We felt very comfortable!

Place is 5-10mins away from sasa barge via tric. Good place to stay if you want a quiet environment.
