Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Darlington

The cottage was absolutely lovely, cosy and welcoming, everything you needed, home from home. I wanted to get away from it all and this property certainly provided me with a great location to explore the coast, lovely walks with my dog and was so quiet, it was heaven. If you want to hear real stillness and nature at its best, this is the place for you. The Bed was really comfy with good showering facilities, couldn’t fault it. Simon and Jo very helpful and friendly, introduced themselves to me. I will be back soon. I was just wondering if What three words would help re location as I did struggle with locating the property. Perfect apartment, well presented and with all the amenities you could ask for. Host thought of everything. Excellent location, with a good balance of walks, relaxation and local history. Highly recommended

An enjoyable one night stay for a friend's celebration. The apartment is perfectly located for all Yarm has to offer, and just a short walk to the high street. Everything was as the description, and extremely comfortable. Ollie had thoughtfully left milk in the fridge (both plant based and normal), and there was tea and coffee available. Ollie was available to meet me when I arrived and left, he was an excellent host and responded very quickly when I contacted him the day before arriving. I would recommend the apartment and would very happily stay again.

We had a lovely time. It was like a home from home. Emma couldn't do enough for us. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of enticing cafes and restaurants in Bishop Auckland.

thank you Jen and Brian for such a magical stay! we couldn't have asked for more! everything was magnificent, the extra touches to mark Stephen's birthday was touching and memorable, I was also surprised with a bottle of Prosecco, went to view bridal dresses but never found one I liked and brian and Jen were so sweet and still gave it to me lol thank you both! we recommend this place highly, the pictures don't do it justice, you need to experience it yourself. we loved the cosy corner, playing darts, sitting by the fire, chilling on the beach chairs ( i must have these now for our garden lol) and the hot tub is the best we have ever been in. the garden is just stunning and comes alive at night! the bed was super comfy too, got such good sleep. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go again! thanks again to our attentive and wonderful hosts!

Lovely modern apartment with good facilities. Comfy beds and nice to have 2 bathrooms. We found the walk into town a bit too much so used taxis which were very reasonably priced. Ate at Little Sicily one night, following a review seen on Airbnb. Good food, very reasonable. Ate at Uno Momento in town also, which we highly recommend. Thank you for the wine that greeted us upon arrival!

A great place. We had the mother in law with us so the downstairs bedroom and shower room were brilliant for her. Easily accessible with a lovely host. We will stay again when up visiting next time! Thank you Cate.

This was our second time staying here this time with a new addition little Jim 🐾 so glad it’s dog friendly, we all had a great time staying again. so clean and homely. great hot tub with a nice view of the field full of lambs. left a lovely little hamper with snacks in both times. cute little notebook where everyone writes about their stay and recommendations! if you’re staying there’s lots of walks local and a short drive away. highly recommend visiting hamsterley forest. the cross keys pub for food is delicious and dog friendly no food on mondays though! lots of dog friendly food places around. overall a great place to stay in a great location. thank you so much for letting us stay emily. we will be back again.

Peaceful quiet location. Near train station. Clean . Generally well equipped, although a few bits of cutlery and crockery missing but nothing major. Comfortable beds, pillows not to my personal preference as very hard, but overall an excellent stay and I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend.

Chris was a great host, easy communication, property was as described along with easy access. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking to stay in the area.

We were staying up there for my Sons wedding , then we stayed on a little over Christmas to see the children . The Ubers are amazing and I just downloaded the app ‘Uber eats ‘ as well and they can do a shop for you from the Coop ,Sainsbury’s and Tesco and more . Uber travel was very good and reasonable . Area of house is great for Newcastle , Durham or Bernard castle area . Rooms are a good size , beds comfortable. Walking for elderly parents was nice and they increased their fitness immensely , as the fresh air has helped them along with the trips to the countryside which is all around . Very Clean throughout . Comfy sofa and large chair. Great for a family . Garden is enclosed and very safe . Rachel has been a very kind host , and fast to respond to any querys , I would recommend the area and the home , the locals are friendly and there’s a Tesco express which has a bit of everything , in walking distance . Warm and welcoming, banister on stairs plenty of cupboards . A*

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

Hi Louise and Andy, My family and I loved our stay at Stoney Nook Cottage. It was exactly as described and very homely. My children loved the snug and thankfully a fabulous selection of games we loved using (as I forgot to pack any, so relieved 🤩). Rooms comfortable and clean, kitchen clean and well equipped (frying pan would've been handy for eggs and pancakes, plus a extra baking tray too). Morrisons only being a five minute walk away was very handy and a few extra minutes you're in town with shops and places to eat. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back one day. A lovely, spacious house, with all the amenities we needed. Great location, lots of pubs, restaurants etc in the area. We had a great family stay.

Fantastic, professional and welcoming hosts, who pride themselves in providing the best stay possible! Barry and Sue provided folders filled with local amenities, garages, local companies and more if you have car issues etc. The flat is gorgeously decorated from an interior lovers perspective with everything you need. This included local garages in case your car breaks down or needs a spare part. The communal gardens provided beautiful views of the river Swale and within walking distance to the centre of Richmond. The flat very much felt like home during our stay :) Very peaceful, fantastic area and friendly locals.

a fabulous apartment with a great host, in an really good location with a fresh selection of restaurants withun 10 min walk as well as supermarkets and other shops. Well equipped kitchen, and good coffee. loved the balcony with a view over the marina. This was my third stay so that should tell you how awesome I think it is.

Great last minute stay for what my partner and I wanted. Very friendly host and nice touches in the accomodation. It was our fault we didn't realise there was no oven- but we where surrounded by places to eat and shops so it was no issue. Couldn't fault the stay and was great value for money.

I stayed for 3 nights while doing a short course. The apartment is situated in the middle of Darlington. It’s a beautiful location with old cobble stone streets mixed with modern coffee shops, restaurants and even a cinema, a short distance away. The apartment was spotless, modern yet homely, a perfect base to explore or as I did, study for the following day’s studies. Highly recommended!

Great flat and location! The local area was lovely, nice walks, pub opposite and shop next door. The flat was an ideal location for exploring neighbouring towns and walking areas. The flat was exactly as described on the listing and Chris’ communication throughout the stay was great
