We loved our stay at Darlington!! The host was so responsive, everything went smoothly. 10/10 the hot tub was a great touch for both adults and kids! Would absolutely stay again!!!

Russell and Clare are great hosts who have created comfortable, well-appointed accommodation which is warm and cosy in winter and I imagine light and airy in summer. The beds were lush. The shower is great - powerful and consistent temperature. Eppleby is peaceful with walks from the cottage, a local shop & tea room - very friendly - and pub. It's a great location for exploring Richmondshire and Co. Durham. We had a relaxing short break at The Old Milk House and hope to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Clearwater cottage. It’s a beautiful place to sit and watch the river from the window, so peaceful. The property is well furnished and has everything we needed and more. The host was there at all times to recommend local restaurants and anything else we needed. We look forward to visiting again

Really nice little place to stay! Was made right at home with the hamper that was left. Very nice touch. Only downside was not many taxis in area and no information about local taxi firm but we found one online so no big issue to us. Would stay again

We enjoyed our stay at Pamela’s home. We were in Darlington (from Leeds) for our best friend’s wedding and needed accommodation close by to the venue. The beds were really comfortable. Clean kitchen and living area with lots of space. We felt at home from the moment we arrived, and we could bring our dog which was great. Saving on kennels fees is always a bonus! He loved the garden. Thank you again.

Darlington 4BD Home: Modern Comfort & Free Parking

My review is based on the space this place offers and the price I paid - Which I consider very decent. Each room feels spacious and even though I was not taking full advantage guest wise, I would consider coming back and recommending to a larger group. The kitchen had all I needed - though the washing machine water tap was turned off and but putting back on, I was able to use it. A note that on my visit the hot and cold markers the wrong way around, but this does not bother me. I was able to enjoy a warm shower and plenty of towels. There is a morrisons a couple of minutes walk away and town close by. And the train station a short taxi ride. A cozy place, with some noise in the day from the street in the week. There was some issue with rubbish but have been told that will be dealt with. My only concern for bringing more people would be the toilet which had too big a gap that stopped the latch from catching and made the lock useless. Overall though I am very happy with my stay.
