Our stay at Nitin’s homestay was nothing short of exceptional. The house was impeccably clean, thoughtfully maintained, and set in a serene, picturesque location — an ideal escape for our annual friends’ getaway. The team was warm, attentive, and ensured we were well cared for throughout our stay. The highlight was the delicious, home-cooked organic meals, each crafted with fresh ingredients and genuine love for hospitality. At Nitin’s suggestion, we engaged a local trekking guide Manish, which added a wonderful sense of adventure and deeper connection to the area. This homestay truly offers a perfect blend of comfort, authenticity, and tranquility. We left with beautiful memories and are already looking forward to returning!

Wow! I booked for a week but added a second week. That says it all. Ramesh is an amazing host: very friendly, speaks good English, non-intrusive but always ready to help with anything you need. The home-made food is delicious. The kitchen has everything you need so you can also make your own food. On clear days, the views of the snowcapped Himalaya are mind-boggling. It's a walk to get there but once you do, you do not want to leave. It's a little outside Almora which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. I cannot recommend it enough and will definitely come back.

Absolutely loved staying at MettaDhura with Mriganka hosting! The place was super easy to find, clear instructions all the way. Communication was smooth and helpful. The homemade food? Total 10/10 – so good we kept looking forward to every meal. The accommodations are unique, each with its own charm and cozy vibe. Quiet, peaceful surroundings, perfect for unwinding. Also some great little treks nearby if you’re in the mood to explore. Highly recommend!

This Airbnb was an absolute gem! Nestled in a peaceful spot full of greenery and cute succulent plants, it felt like nature was hugging us from all sides. The sunrise view with clouds drifting over the valley was just surreal. The place had the warmth of a grandma - welcoming, cozy, filled with plants, and serving delicious, homely food. It was peaceful, soulful, and just what we needed. There's a short 100m uphill walk to reach the stay (super easy) and plenty of parking space. Overall, a truly special experience - we left feeling refreshed and loved.

The homestay is cozy and peaceful. The location is great, and the view from the homestay is amazing. You can sit on the property and enjoy a beautiful sunset. My pet loves this place! The house is a cute little spot that makes you feel like you're in a village. Mayank and his family were incredibly helpful throughout my stay.

Had a wonderful stay at Ramashish’s place - the local staff cooked us heavenly food and made us feel welcome to the chalet. We enjoyed each evening watching the sunset against the beautiful mountains. The village nearby was quiet and walkable, we felt safe in the area and the gardens at the house were well taken care of and beautifully landscaped. Would definitely visit again in the future!

I had a fantastic stay at Digvijay’s cottage. It’s in the mid of a tee estate (it’s not a massive tea estate but a small one, but peaceful.) The room is absolutely minimalist but makes you feel like home. It’s a wooden cottage and you get that old time charm. It’s a two story cottage with bedrooms upstairs and bathroom, kitchen, work desk etc. at ground floor. For food, if you are really keen on fancy food probably you can cook yourself as the place has a 2 burner gas stove or you can eat at some eatery before reaching here (No fancy restaurants around). The other option is to ask the caretaker Mr Girish to cook for you. He cooks homely meals and charges for it additionally. Beyond that, on a clear day you can catch glimpse of snow cladded Himalayas from the cabin itself. Parking is available at the property but driving down that Slope could test your driving skills thoroughly. All in all a lovely place to stay. I was there in 3 week of April 2025.
