Waterfront vacation rentals in Dar es Salam

Good central place. Particularly good if you need to go to Muhimbili as you can walk there Nice to have access to a pool although not very clean and also closed for a some days for cleaning reasons

Stayed for a couple of nights with the family whilst on holiday. Apartment is clean, secure, everything works and was better than I expected for the price. We arrived late and keys were with the security guard which was easy. Gilbert gave us a local number to call so our driver could get directions to the location (again worked fine). Block is modern (I’d say within the last year or two) and everybody was friendly to us. Powerful AC’s and internet was handy too + wasn’t expecting Netflix! would stay again...

The studio apartment was lovely and exactly as described. Lovely space situated centrally within Dar, with a mall located nearby. Stacy was a great host as well, responds super quick and very accommodating. Will 100% be looking to rebook when back in town.

First time using Airbnb, and I’m satisfied 100% with this house. The house was clean, cute and beautiful than the picture on Airbnb. The host were caring, responsive, and available. He help us to plan our stay in Dar es Salam, went to pick us when we reach the country to the house, help us to find taxi, restaurants,… I highly recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a affordable and luxurious place at the same time. We will definitely go there everytime we will be in Dares Salam.

Great place for Family, work colleagues or friends looking for a relaxing place to spend a weekend.

The Explorer Villa was perfect as our base for our cricket tour. The building is clean, spacious and full of character. The staff are friendly, helpful and responsive. The access to the local beach is quick and easy, and while set a bit out of Dar proper, it was great to have all of us in one place we felt comfortable with. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly to others.

We had an amazing stay once again! The house is in a perfect location, just a short walk to the beach, which makes it ideal for a relaxing getaway. The host is incredibly helpful and always goes above and beyond to ensure we have everything we need. This was not our first visit—we’ve been here several times already, and we always look forward to coming back. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for our vacations! We’d love to keep returning and would greatly appreciate a discount for loyal guests. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

The house is good, the neighborhood is amazing and neat, and the beach is awesome, the kids loved it, will definitely come back next time.
