Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Dar es Salam

We stayed at the place for 2 weeks in May 2025, it was really great and it felt so much at home. The responsiveness and friendliness of the host was the best, it made our stay easy and relaxing. The location was very good for us as we needed to go to town and other parts of Dar es Salaam often. Among the airbnb's we've stayed in different countries, this was the best in terms of customer service and relaxing environment. Peace and security was another thing we liked a lot, and also extra services like Netflix, very good WiFi. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting Dar for business or leisure and wishing to stay close to local surroundings, of course this is not luxury hotel quality and its not meant to be that but its the best "home-like" local environment and best customer service money can buy.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay. Peaceful and lovely environment. 5 minutes drive to the Mall. Public transport is readily available. The place is very secure and serene. Philip has been super helpful, always responsive. 😊. I highly recommend the place.

We had a great time in Charlotte’s place. The house is located in the middle of the nature with beautiful garden and views from the rooftop. The nearby beaches are breathtaking. Charlotte was a great host and provided lots of useful tips and advice.

The place was amazing as described in the photos. The host was amazing and very helpful. The place is near the main road and easy to find. The place was meticulously clean. And the house has all the amenities of a 4 star hotel.

I had a lovely stay at Victors place. He welcomed me with some amazing pilau to which I really enjoyed. Communication is quick and easy, Victor is also very friendly and a wonderful host. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in Dar.

Ronalds Haus ist sehr schön. Der Pool und der Garten genau wie beschrieben. Seine Haushaltshilfe war hervorragend, immer freundlich und verfügbar. Ronald ist auch sehr bemüht es schön zu gestalten. Die Wohnung ist gut durchdacht und gross. Leider gab es bei Beschreibung und der Kommunikation nicht klare Angaben. Man teilt sich den Garten und den Pool mit anderen Gästen. Man hat seinen eigenen Eingang. Das heisst es gibt 2 separate Wohnungen, falls man aber alles möchte, kann man das auch buchen. Es war manchmal schwer reinzukommen, da es keine Klingel gibt. Es gibt ein paar kleine local Geschäfte für mal eine Cola kein Problem. Das Haus liegt relativ weit entfernt von der Stadt, aber es gibt einem ein schönes Gefühl vom ruhigen Teil von Dar. Der Stand ist mit dem Auto circa 5-10 Minuten. Supermarkt und local Markt circa 10-15 min. Nachts kann es schwierig mit Bolt werden. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Es war ein super Penthousewohnung. Im obersten Stockwerk eines Hochhauses und dadurch eine super Aussicht auf Da Es Salaam. Der Pool mit anliegenden Bar war demnach ganz oben und von niemandem einzusehen und dadurch sehr privat. Sehr freundliche Nachbarn und sehr nettes und sicheres Security Team. Der Vermieter war kurzfristig erreichbar und sofort zur Hilfe als unsere Strompauschale aufgebraucht war und konnten das innerhalb 5 Minuten wieder aufladen. Yoga Vielen Dank. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen.

Amazing apartment complex i enjoyed my time there, very family oriented and friendly. It’s near stores, restaurants, and a beautiful beach that I loved very much. The hosts are polite and friendly never had a complaint, I would highly recommend!!!

The best place to stay in Dar. Located in the upscale region of Masaki reknown for it's utmost secure, neat, quiet, and peaceful environment. The area offers great streets for evening walks and runs. The host was so kind and professional. I just found my new home every time I am in Dar Es Salaam.

We had a wonderful day at Allegra‘s home. The space is tastefully decorated and with all necessary bedding and kitchen utensils. The location is really central not too far from supermarkets, restaurants, the Peninsula and city Centre. Allegra was very responsive and proactive to provide solutions when necessary, and the security staff were also very friendly, helpful and ready to fix things. Overall we really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend the place to anybody looking for short term or long-term accommodation In Dar.

I had a wonderful stay at this 1-bedroom apartment in Makumbusho. The place is super cozy with a chic, modern look—exactly as pictured. The breakfast setup was a nice touch, and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook comfortably. Fast Wi-Fi made it easy to work and stay connected. It’s a peaceful spot with great amenities—highly recommend for anyone looking for a stylish and homey place to stay in Dar!

I did a sleepover to celebrate my daughter’s first birthday with my friends and a time was absolutely had!!! I genuinely enjoyed the stay, the experience and will definitely book again for my birthday or something like that.

I stayed at Haikaeli's lovely apartment/house for 2 nights and had the perfect getaway. From start to finish, I was very happy!! The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and even more charming than the photos. I especially loved the back garden, which was cozy. The space had everything I needed – a fully equipped kitchen, super comfortable bed, strong Wi-Fi, and thoughtful extras like [coffee/tea, toiletries, guidebooks, etc.]. The location was ideal! Not far from the US embassy and Oysterbay Police Station, which gave me a sense of added security. It's located on quiet but untarred street, just a 5-minute walk to the main streets that have some local shops. It also not far from the beaches in Masaki. Haikaeli was exceptional – responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. She gave me great local tips which I found quite useful. She comes highly recommended.
