Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Danbury

Grateful to have the opportunity to stay in this gorgeous Airbnb! Loved the absolutely gorgeous decor, and it was great to have all three bedrooms on one level! Hosts were very responsive. Definitely stay here for all Newtown trips

This space is so lovely, the hot tub worked perfectly and provided many cozy nights outside. The plants are BEAUTIFULLY tender and bring a loving atmosphere to the space. the linen sheets were so wonderful at the end of the day. we made it up the hill in a Honda insight, but if it were a tiny bit icy I don't think we would have been able to make it. definitely use 4wd if you have it. the hosts were very responsive. if the noise is too much in the bedroom at night (critters, rain,etc.) be sure to use the fan they provide, it helped us a lot :) the kitchen was a delight to use. sharp knives. big, metal surfaces. nice gas stove. big fridge.

We couldn’t say enough great things about Sam’s place! We traveled here over New Years and after a problem with our original AirBnB Sam was quick to respond and even helped to get us in early, saving our entire trip! The home is the cozy, clean and modern. Located on a quiet street close to downtown, we enjoyed hanging out in the living room by the wood burning stove or in the backyard with our pups. The house was spacious with 4 bedrooms and 1 and 1/2 bathrooms. All the rooms were spotless with comfortable beds and we felt right and home for our stay. We would recommend this place to anyone and can’t thank Sam and her family enough! Will be sure to visit again.

Michael and Enrique were excellent hosts, and left me and my girlfriends ice cream in the freezer to enjoy! They responded quickly when we had any questions. The view from the hottub looking out onto the woods is beautiful and the hottub was just what we needed to relax. A beautiful, cozy getaway, and so close to Rhinebeck!

A beautiful home- super comfortable and spacious. It is outfitted with everything you could need. Peaceful location (we stayed in spring/winter- can’t speak to what it would be like in season). Lovely views. Easy to get into town by car (3-5 minutes!). Host was excellent - responsive to any questions or inquiries

This was our second time staying here for a family getaway and it was better than we remembered. The hosts were so great, very responsive and helpful. It snowed a bunch while we were here and they made sure we had what we needed and a plow came to help us get out of the driveway. The fireplaces are such a cozy touch and our dog loves the big fenced yard. We will be returning again!

My friend and I had a lovely two-night stay at Julie's place. The house is the perfect retreat—peaceful, cozy, and beautifully located. We especially enjoyed the evenings by the wood-burning stove and long, leisurely breakfasts on the porch while listening to the river. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with high-quality pillows and bedding—we both slept so well! I would definitely love to come back someday with my husband to enjoy the peace and quiet, as well as everything else the Berkshires has to offer. There were 5 of us, with another 6 staying in another nearby air bnb. We had Thanksgiving in our house and found everything we needed to cook. Seating was a bit challenging, but we made it work and it was very comfortable. The location is in the woods with lots of boulders and rocks, which we all loved. We found the place easily using GPS. Everyone’s bed was comfy. Close enough to what we wanted, just far enough away to make it an adventure. Because it was so cold and grey, we didn’t hike, but saw plenty of opportunities (maybe next time?!)

We loved our time at this beautiful cottage! We have been to lots of Airbnb’s, and most have been a good experience. This cottage was something more. We both felt instantly relaxed when we walked in the door. It was so cozy and comfortable. We slept great in the comfy bed. The pictures can’t describe the feeling of the place. Warm, cozy, peaceful, inspiring, comfortable, quiet and truly rejuvenating. I will be making a trip to the area again as soon as possible, just to stay in this cabin retreat.

Lovely quiet, pet-friendly place above the garage but note that there is a steep staircase to get up to the second floor. Very friendly hosts - greeted me on arrival and had left the door unlocked so entry was easy and the key was available for my use. Comfy bed, cozy and warm rooms with remote-controlled mini-splits in both the living room and bedroom. Bathroom with tub and separate shower - the water pressure was not as strong in the shower as I would have liked, but it was nice to have the skylight in there. My GPS found it easily but a larger sign with the house number would be helpful, especially at night. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful, clean, and relaxing rental. Highly recommend staying here. Exactly what I needed after working my 12-hour shifts. I felt right at home!

This is a beautiful spacious home on hill with a mountain range view. The host told us about a hike that started in the neighborhood and it led to a pond and creek, which our whole family loved. Then Kingston restaurants were a very short drive to enjoy. The host left little snacks which I thought was a nice touch and the kids enjoyed.

Joanne greeted us when we arrived - wanted to make sure we were comfortable. She encouraged us to contact her with any questions. The apartment was clean, well equipped and spacious. We are native Long Islanders and this location was central to the family and friends we were visiting.

The whole experience was perfect. There were even fresh flowers to greet me. The location is easy, a beautiful neighborhood that is very quiet and safe. I'm ready to return!

Very nice accommodation. It takes a good half hour by bus to get to Port Authority terminal. Very clean, clear instructions for check-in even late. Several buses take you to Manhattan, a 7-minute walk away. Cecia explains how to take them. Bonus: a basketball court right next door for kids to let off steam in the evening when they get home if they have any energy left!

This was the perfect place for me to stay after a long day of travel and before the next day’s early site meeting. I felt so cozy after a wonderfully hot shower that I fell asleep early. And the bed was so comfortable I overslept, but Lisa saved the day by leaving a muffin and drinks so I was able to have a rushed breakfast. The accommodation was exactly what I needed.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Jasmine's and Kyle's! Their home is very clean and was spacious for the 4 of us to relax and have an enjoyable time. They included a lot of nice and thoughtful touches, such as separate towels for the hot tub and even disposable slippers for outdoor use (i.e., travel back and forth from the hot tub). The kitchen is very nice, well stocked, clean. And a great location to many of the local hotspots.

Paul’s place had the style of grand old home but it didn’t feel old: everything worked as it should, the kitchen and baths were updated and gorgeous. Amazing. We visited with family over 3 days and it was a fantastic, comfortable place to be together. Paul was gracious and helpful. Furniture and beds were of high quality and comfy. The grand piano in the living room was an extraordinary instrument and very much in tune - it was played for hours. All the guests gushed about the place, several saying it felt like a classic movie set. Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed it. We very highly recommend

Absolutely beautiful home! Carl and Rebecca were wonderful hosts - they were super responsive and accommodating. And their home is lovely down to all the little details, from the soft bathrobes to the warm spaces to hang out in. We had a wonderful stay at their home and would love to come back!

We absolutely loved our weekend stay here! There was a snaffoo where the heat wasn’t working properly when we arrived and the host was so responsive to get it fixed ASAP and provided a discount without us even asking. It’s a gorgeous property with a lovely view. We will definitely be back!

Great location, beautiful scenic views, very private with all amenities a small group needs for a perfect vacation or friends and family meet. Highly recommend it. EV charger in the garage was a big relief since we came in with two EVs. Easy check in. No difficulty in finding the house. Lisa was a great host. We will come back again.
