The cottage is filled with natural light and offers picturesque views from its many windows, so you're always connected to the outdoors. One of its highlights is the cozy attic—a perfect spot to curl up with a book and spend a slow, peaceful day. Located in a clean, serene neighborhood, the cottage is just a 10-minute walk from the lake's edge, making it both tranquil and conveniently placed. Fozia is a thoughtful host who goes the extra mile with her recommendations—she can connect you with a reliable shikhara boatman and a friendly auto driver who offers rides at very reasonable rates. A special touch is the delightful breakfast basket she provides, complete with homemade jams that add a personal and delicious start to the day.

The place is cozy and well-maintained, making it a great option for a stay with friends or family. Though the food options were limited, everything we ordered was delicious, and the staff was respectful and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and equipped with heaters, hot water, and electric bed warmers, which made the stay comfortable. However, there were frequent power cuts that occasionally affected access to hot water. Also, keep in mind that the property is located about 30 minutes outside of Srinagar, not within the city itself.

We were a party of 12 returning from a trek and Khalid's place was the best choice for all of us. We felt right at home throughout the stay. Khalid had called me right after booking the property and informed about dinner and breakfast availability. I am glad he called because after an exhausting week, we were treated with great food and beautiful property. Our friends have bookmarked this property to share with their friends. I am grateful to Khalid's staff to have made us feel at home.

What truly sets this home stay apart is the exceptional hospitality. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, treating us like family from the moment we arrived. Qazi and his Mom were always available to assist with any requests. This place is very close to the airport, perfectly located for both relaxation and exploration . Popular tourist spots, cafe, departmental stores were just a short drive away. Our stay at qazi’s place was nothing short of perfect, an experience that exceeded all our expectations !! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Srinagar .

It was an excellent experience. Mr. Vidur Wazir has a beautiful heritage property infused with family collectibles and stories dating back to generations. He himself was very friendly and knowledgeable.. the property is centrally located with clean facilities and excellent food. The helpers were also very nice and attended to every need. The place and the host exudes elegance and we highly recommend the place to get a flavour of authentic kashmir

We had a wonderful experience staying at Basharat’s place. The flat (2 BHK) was exactly as described—clean, cozy, equipped with everything. Rooms were stocked with heaters and bed were comfortable with electrical blankets. We didn't feel cold in room. Two bathrooms equipped with water heaters. Kitchen didn't had induction/gas stove, but we didn't needed. There was an electric kettle. Bablu (helper) was polite, always there to make snacks/tea anytime. We had breakfast only everyday which was good. Mr Basharat was an outstanding host. He was friendly, very helpful. He made sure that we had the best experience and memories in Kashmir, also ensured we feel like home there. He and his wife recommend kashmiri foods and shops which we tasted and enjoyed. Location was peaceful. 10 km from airport, 1 km to some restaurants and small shop and park nearby. I'd recommend staying at this place and would definitely return if I’m ever in the area. Thank you for our enjoyable stay!

Aamir sir is a great host and very welcoming. We stayed at My Kashmir Home on our way back from an exhausting 7 day trek. Aamir sir and his team took great care in helping us recover and refresh. If you are looking for a quiet and luxurious stay and experience the best in Kashmiri hospitality, go for this one. P.S. - If you’re a group, request for the Kashmiri wazwan experience. The in-house chef will blow your mind.

The stay was amazing. Dr. Shakeel is a super host indeed. The place is quaint and near to airport. Travelling to various locations was very easy and effortless. The house manager was extremely helpful and always proactively checked on us every day. The property is big, well equipped and cozy. Super market and all amenities were a min away. Great place to stay with family and friends. Very safe as there is a guard at the main property gate at night. Loved the stay 100% recommend

Walisons homestay is a delight to stay. Exactly as seen in the photos. Very well maintained. The staff are very courteous and always helpful. The property Manager Mr Mushtaq is absolutely fantastic. Ever willing to help, no matter what the time. And so are all the staff members. Very smooth, no hassles check in, check out process. Rooms were very well appointed. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which also came with 2 bathrooms - so very convenient for the morning rush! Geysers are large size - so no shortage of hot water. All the rooms have a/c cum heater. Kitched had all the appliances like fridge, washing machine, microwave and all of them were well maintained and made the stay comfortable. The WiFi works great. TV has Netflix. Couldn't ask for more. Will be back for sure. Highly recommended 👌

We stayed at this place for 3 days and it was a great experience. The place has shops near by. The rooms were clean, it had a kitchen and dining area as well. Sheikh was very supportive and always available in need of any help. He reaches out to check on which was a nice gesture from Sheikh. One of the room heater had a hiccup, but Sheikh helped us sort it out for us. One feedback would be that, if room can be cleaned once in a day it would be great as there might be food waste or cooking as result of previous days if guest prefers. But other than that everything was top notch!

The place is in nearby area of Dal lake. One can see Shikara rides passing by from your back window. You can also see snow peaked mountains from your window. Place is in quiet area and we loved our stay here. Host is responsive and helped us whenever needed. Place has electric blankets and host will provide other accessories if available. Place is just 2 km away from Dal lake gate. Place was clean and well maintained. Will definitely recommend this to others

The stay went great. The place looks exactly like in the pictures and the location is very peaceful with good accessibility to shops and markets. Zakiya was a very welcoming and responsive host and she ensured that we don’t face any difficulties during our stay. We had a wonderful stay at Aubiz Villa during the Good Friday vacation weekend with four families. The host was incredibly hospitable and served delicious food throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the spacious lawn area, which turned out to be the perfect hangout spot for our group – especially with the cozy campfire setup in the evenings. The villa is ideal for group trips, providing both comfort and a relaxed vibe. It’s rare to find such a great outdoor space in this location, making it a standout feature. The only minor feedback we had was that the toilets in two of the rooms were smaller than expected. That said, it didn’t take away from our overall experience. Considering we traveled during the busy vacation season, the stay was very economical, and all four families left with great memories. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone planning a getaway with friends or extended family!

We had a very comfortable stay. Host welcomed us with kawa and snacks. He was very kind and responsive with anything that was needed. It was more like a home. Rooms were clean,pretty and spacious with attached bathrooms. Located in a scenic and peaceful place. Breakfast was tasty as well. Home cooked! 10/10. Definitely recommended and would visit again.

Musaib, the owner, is very kind and always ready to help whenever needed. The amenities are comprehensive, and everything you might need is available, including a well-equipped kitchen and the convenience of having a washing machine and a drying rack. Additionally, the accommodation is conveniently located near shops and the main road, making it easy to travel to various places. I could easily walk to buy things or find food. Overall, I highly recommend this place to everyone, especially solo female travelers. It’s not only cost-effective but also safe and feels like home.

The Care Taker were extremely carrying the mirror experience 10 times better both Hamid Bhai and Sajad made her stay very, very comfortable. We felt at home. The Home was very well kept. We were served food and drinks whenever wanted.
