Places to stay in Srinagar

So, as our driver Khurshid said - "Trust the process!" :) This property is what you see in the pictures. Nothing less, nothing more. Everything listed as part of the property (amenities, local accessibility, supportive host) is very much true. The locality is safe. You will have no trouble navigating or ordering in (in case you don't feel like cooking or doing a campfire). However, this is not a fancy 'let's get drunk and chill place.' So, not that :) Don't try to find the location on the Google maps. It is not listed. But as I said in the beginning "trust the process" and you will see the magic of "Kashmiri hospitality" unfold for you. And, most importantly, while you are there do make time to talk to Fozia and Siddiq - be it about their garden, their property, or anything under the sun!!! They definitely are two wonderful souls to spend time with. And then, spend time in the loft - pick a book for reading or make some coffee and go up and watch the setting sun with the birdies.

This house stands out because of one person.. that is Nusrat. She made us feel like we are staying in home away from home. We ll genuinely feel connected to her and that is really important.. even when the weather was bad, once we come back after long tiring day of sightseeing.. when we see her smiling face and pleasing manner, half the problem is gone. She was waiting with kahwa and dates.. and that too the best kahwa we have tasted in Kashmir is hers.. The house is superb with wooden interiors and just like the description.. She is really proactive and whatever you wish for, she ll make it happen.. i will surely recommend anyone stay here.. She gave us such a memorable trip

It was an excellent experience. Mr. Vidur Wazir has a beautiful heritage property infused with family collectibles and stories dating back to generations. He himself was very friendly and knowledgeable.. the property is centrally located with clean facilities and excellent food. The helpers were also very nice and attended to every need. The place and the host exudes elegance and we highly recommend the place to get a flavour of authentic kashmir

A very beautiful stay. The caretaker and the host were very caring and made sure they made us feel at home. The property was super clean and hygienic.

The stay was amazing. Dr. Shakeel is a super host indeed. The place is quaint and near to airport. Travelling to various locations was very easy and effortless. The house manager was extremely helpful and always proactively checked on us every day. The property is big, well equipped and cozy. Super market and all amenities were a min away. Great place to stay with family and friends. Very safe as there is a guard at the main property gate at night. Loved the stay 100% recommend

Zaid was incredibly helpful and the family treated us like their own. We had visited during a tough time for Kashmir and the hosts were very receptive and understanding. Also allowed us to park our bikes inside the property - most gracious and loving hosts I’ve ever come across.

Our stays in the Nehal's Airbnb were wonderful , peaceful and comfortable. We felt like at home away home. there was not a single issue . Food prepared by host was wonderful and delicious. Although we felt the cost of food in whole Srinagar is on higher side as compare to other tourist places . As we have seen in different Airbnb accomodation, we missed wall mounted soap dispensers in bathrooms. Thanks for your wonderful services.

Prithvi's place is centrally located in Srinagar, giving easy walking access to Jhelum Zero Point bridge. The home is beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are squeaky clean. Every morning we enjoyed the breathtaking views of the Zabarwan mountains from all the balconies! Prithvi is a super host who is very responsive. He attended to all our needs quickly. He even offered to arrange a pick up of our dinner the first day as we were reaching late and most of the shops were closed due to Eid. Which host does that. His mother Ritu ma'am, was welcoming and made hot kehwa for us. The day we were leaving she and Prithvi's father specially came to meet us for taking feedback. We experienced Kashmiri hospitality first hand all thanks to their warm and welcoming nature! We will surely vist them again. My advice to all my fellow air bnb members, pls book Prithvi's place without thinking twice when visiting Srinagar. It will make your stay memorable :)

The place was peaceful, clean, and exactly what I was looking for. All amenities were well maintained, and the kitchen was fully functional — perfect for a comfortable stay. It’s conveniently located near the main road and just a short distance from Dal Lake. I stayed for 2 nights and it was absolutely worth it. A special shoutout to Yasir, the caretaker, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He checked in on me every day to make sure I had everything I needed — truly thoughtful and modest. I’d definitely love to stay here again on my next visit!
