Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Dal Lake

This was a great stay. I have changed the dates twice after booking the place and Ali has accepted it both times. it felt right at home. super clean and beautiful property amidst apple orchards and you will get to see dal lake from the balcony. Pet friendly and plenty of places for a dog to roam around. Food was also very tasty, Roopa their cook was very cooperative. we are remote workers and they have good wifi connection and power backup also. we didn't face a single issue during our stay. Highly recommended.

It ticks all the right boxes you'd expect from an AirBnb stay. The building is grand and imposing. The room is comfortably spacious and airy. So is the washroom. The dining room downstairs is huge and all the spaces we had been to in the entire mansion is nicely decorated. The adjacent lawn is a delightful place to just sit and relax. Mansoor, the caretaker needs a special mention for lending the helping hand, and that too with a never-fading smile, whenever you require. For the detail-hunters, this mansion is impeccably located in the city with the amenities nearby but sans the bustle. Overall the heritage mansion was an absolute delight. Go and enjoy your stay here. N.B. : Just a little suggestion. How about putting up a signboard outside? It would help the visitors and even the local cab-drivers to locate the place, especially at night.

Great homely stay at The Cottage Nigeen. Good property, rooms and location is peaceful

Some people welcome you to their house but these people welcomed us into their homes. Extremely warm,welcoming and loving people who went out of their way to help us and make us feel comfortable. Kashmir becomes even more beautiful because of beautiful people like these. Especially, the lady (not disclosing the name due to privacy reasons) is such a good soul that she treated us like her kids and served us food with love. We were there for just a night but we felt a part of them and their culture immediately. Thank you for hosting us. Ps. The hosts are parents of Labeek and not Labeek himself. This might help you avoid any confusion.

My wife and I had been to Kashmir during winter. We wanted to experience the "tulip experience. " The review of this place seemed excellent. We truly had the best stay in Kashmir. Mr. A. Kashani has retired from a successful business. He has spent a lot of money to create this stay. I can see that they are not in this for the money. They love to serve and share their warmth and hospitality. They are so personable and friendly. They went out of their way to care for every detail. The cooking of Mrs. Kashani is amazing. All organic. We enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners. It wasn't a package, but we referred to the a-la-carte. Very reasonable prices Mr. Aijaz has a very high general knowledge IQ, and it was a pleasure talking with him. It's a prime residential area, suitable for a peaceful stay. Drives us to the main road or summons a cab. Car users will find it easy. We will surely stay here again. In November '25, we are coming with our friends. We made life-long friends.

I had a great day in the villa, it was right opposite sind river....very beautiful villa for family or friends. The view outside the villa was really mesmerizing.

a wonderful open view on the lake and the mountains. No traffic around!! it's a private enclave, which is wonderful. Breakfast and dinner are served for a reasonable price.
