Arriving on the island is strange, but you get used to it... it was very good... to feel the spirit of the island... communication with the island's residents is great... It was very good to be on the island... the house is very cozy and the patio is an asset...

Strandhuis

We met Erwin and his wife ourselves. The two were very friendly and explained everything very precisely and at the same time generously. Unfortunately, we were there at a time when it rained a lot and was often cold. Very unusual, as everyone said. It was very good to have working underfloor heating. The windows were also sealed. There are many windows so it was bright. To the front is the one big footpath out of the island. You can watch people make the pilgrimage from the ferries to the beach and back. There is no real view of the sea. It's quiet and sunny in the back. All around are other vacation homes, but in February and March they were all empty. Some construction work was done on the other houses, ready for the summer. The couple who own the house were really nice and helpful. On site there is a woman who takes care of everything. We didn't need them, though, because everything worked well.
A seafood dish is presented on a dark woven mat, showcasing a mix of shrimp, mussels, and an oyster atop colorful vegetables. A plate sits in front of a seated person, who is wearing a light grey sweatshirt. The background features a coastal view with low buildings and vegetation.

Living aboard on Anchor

What a woman Lamia is and what a great experience! Myself and my sister were looking for an adventure and this is definitely what we got! You can tell Lamia is passionate about sharing her wonderful once in a lifetime experience living on a boat. If you’re an adventures spirit wild soul then this is for you. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing, Lamia communicated well and we enjoyed using the kayak to explore around the boat and to and from the island. It was interesting to learn the tide times and wake up in a beautiful location to ourselves. It’s like camping on a boat but with that you get a once in a lifetime experience in nature to yourself. Would recommend and I’ll be going back for sure. Also make sure to take some food and water of what you need for supplies on the boat. The island is easily accessible too with cafes and restaurants ✨ Thankyou so much Lamia for a wonderful stay :)
