Approx 1500 sf area with plenty of parking in a very rural area close to hiking and swimming or rock climbing at Hanging Rock State Park, and Pilot Knob, as well as floating the Dan River or just relaxing watching the horses play in the paddock, enjoying roasting hot dogs or smores over the fire pit. Kibler Valley Cabin

Our cabin is located in the picturesque Kibler Valley just over the Virginia state line. It is equidistant from Mt Airy, NC and Stuart, VA. It is located directly on the Dan River, just down the mountain from it's headwaters. The property sits 4 miles down a 6.5 mile dead-end road. At the end of the road is a hydro-electric power plant. During the summer months the water from the dam is released on week-ends which makes for fantastic kayaking and tubing.
