Di and Athol were absolutely wonderful and accommodating at such short notice. It's always a challenge to find a farm stay that allows dogs. And allows us to go for walks on the farm. 💓A beautiful place to site back, relax and enjoy such beautiful scenery from inside the cottage while sipping wine and near a nice warm crackling fire, and seeing such an array of bird life near the dam. The fireplace worked so well. Our two dogs loved the walks with us on the farm, such breathtaking scenery of our beautiful mountains. 🇿🇦 A memorable weekend away.

We felt very welcome at Adrian and Penny's cottage. It's beautiful and welcoming. Being situated in a small cul-de-sac made it so peaceful. Adrian made some great recommendations for local coffee shops too.

Spacious, stunning, and even better than expected! The home offered plenty of space to relax, and the kitchen was absolutely beautiful — perfect for cooking or just hanging out. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay feel extra special. Honestly, the place looks even better in person than in the photos! Plus, the easy access made everything super convenient.

A beautiful home, with plenty of space . Comfortable rooms with all amenities. We loved the fact that we could have our dogs with us and enjoyed the walks on the commonage and the beautiful views. Lots of choice for restaurants and groceries easily available from Underberg 5min away. We would definitely be back if we can

What an excellent weekend away our family had in Himeville! Beany’s accommodation was wonderful - well equipped, beautifully decorated, comfortable and situated on a beautiful property. My son had great fun on their playground and we enjoyed an easy walk down to the dam. Beany also lent us toys for my son to play with which was so helpful and provided us with lots of recommendations for a fun time away. We hope to visit again soon!

Amanda is a wonderful kind person who communication and caring is fantastic. Due to a personal issue we didn’t get to stay with Amanda but she sent messages to make sure we were okay was offered her help if needed. It’s the little things that you remember and Amanda was so kind. Thank you

we enjoyed our stay, very proactive host and accommodative. my daughter had her 16th birthday with friends and all the girls liked the peaceful nature and being far away from the city added that extra vibe. I highly recommend this place and definitely coming back 🙂. Cheers to Debbie & Robyn for being such great host.

We absolutely loved our time at 1901 cottage! It is charming and beautiful and we felt relaxed by the outside fire in the evenings listening and watching the cows roam around. We didn’t need anything else and our stay was lovely. Just remember to bring lots of firewood as there are 3 potential places to have fires going !!
