Cabin vacation rentals in Cradle Mountain

We arrived just before the sun started to set and the view across the wetlands was absolutely magical! Lots of wildlife visible from the balcony, which was great! We had everything we needed, and the place was very cosy and comfortable. The cabin felt secluded and private, but was just a short drive to Launceston. Easy to find too, and the directions were helpful. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back

What a beautiful place in the most stunning setting. No detail has been spared - everything is so beautifully thought through and considered. It was pristinely clean and had everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was a wonderful addition after a long day of exploring! We would recommend to anyone. Sarah was a perfect host and super communicative. We’d love to come back.

I had a beautiful stay, exactly what I needed after days of hiking. The fire place and outdoor bath were perfect for sore muscles. The place was even better than the pictures. I definitely recommend 😊

Susie and Gordon have a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Very peaceful and has everything you could ask for and more. They were very responsive and helpful during our stay. A car is highly recommended for this trip as there isn’t much public transport and there are lovely farms, wineries, waterfalls and beaches nearby to explore. We would love to stay again. Couldn’t have chosen a better spot for our first holiday together.

This is a little gem, perfect for a few nights surrounded by trees. We loved splashing in the creek, and started gazing from the rear verandah. Everything was as described and we had what we needed for a lovely stay, despite a big rainy day. Would definitely recommend staying.

Great former bakery stay. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to Launceston and DeLoraine and beyond. Stephanie was very welcoming and it was great to see the White House, too.

This little cabin was such a fun and funky place to stay. I love what has been transformed from a 1930's cottage to this quirky cool zone. I loved all the lighting. The beds were super comfy, and I love the bedding, flannelette sheets were super cosy. The whole place just felt like home when we entered, it was great! I will definitely recommend to others and would stay again if we were down that way. Thanks for creating such an awesome house!

This place is SUCH a vibe! We had the best time, very cosy place with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Our dog loved it too, with a big backyard and fence so he could run around. Very comfy couch, bed, spa bath and record player. It’s impeccably decorated with finer details and small touches. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic location away from city lights and noise where you can enjoy nature in peace. Great fireplace to warm up when it gets cold outside.

For the LOCATION: The location is PERFECT for people who want to visit Cradle Mountain. The living place has a fantastic view of the mountains. It is about a 15-minute drive to the closest town of Tasmania. For the HOUSE: Everything is well-maintained and tidy. The facility is old but enough to use. Do not recommend BBQ, because the BBQ facility is outside and it would bother other neighbours. The kitchen comes with some kitchen utensils but it needs to be further cleaned. For the ENVIRONMENT: If you are an animal lover, this place is the best for you! There are lots of animals and also a cute kitty in the reception :)

This was a lovely little cabin in the woods, surrounded by trees and wildlife! Small but functional and perfect for a nights stay in the woods. We even had an unofficial guard, a Tasmanian devil, outside on the porch!

Our family of 4 loved our stay at Silver Ridge - the cabin was well-equiped & cosy, the kids especially loved the walk to the tin mine & of course the indoor pool was a real highlight! It is a great location for accessing Cradle Mountain & Sheffield & the sunset colours reflected on Mt Roland are magic!

Perfect for our group from the Burnie Highland Pipe Band competing in the Tasmanian Pipe Band Championships at Oatlands. Andrea had the fire burning in the kitchen for our late arrival after a meal at The Kentish Hotel. She later dropped in with extra milk and bread and was a wealth of information on local colonial and aboriginal history, current farming in the area, and the local wildlife, warning us about the Tasmanian Devil under the floorboards! This visitor made for an interesting night! A unique and memorable stay and one that BHPB hope to make a tradition. Thanks Andrea.

Our family had a really great time here and everything was as described! Cabin was very comfortable, and John was an extremely kind host. The backdrop of Mt Roland is beautiful and we enjoyed watching the platypus in the pond on site

Great cosy, warm and clean cabin... nice and quiet away from it all.

The unit has bern recently renovated to a high standard. in a quiet ountry area although back from a main road. Stayed 2 nights. really enjoyed it

Off grid but can charge battery pack for my CPAP machine at main house. Lots of farm and wildlife including Elmo the dog, Jessi the donkey, ram, alpaka, wallabies, peacocks, birds & geese. Near to the creek and with a pond next door surrounded by reeds. Optus coverag very poor Solar shed lights for lighting and cool storage is via Esky bricks in eskies. We also used a bag of ice each day. Cooking is on a 2 burner butane stove outside on verandah with sufficient pots and pans to achieve most basic food preparation. Note: No microwave oven. Most nights we ate outside in the very hospitable 18-22 degree temperature range. Loft beds have single doona and are quite soft. Didn't sleep on the fold out divan sofa, but plenty of bedding provided. Has gas hot water for a good 3 minute shower, and also for washing up in sink. The composting toilet took some getting used to especially for my 18 yo daughter. Overall Rossi's accomodation allowed us reasonable independent accommodation close to Ulv
