Everything is relaxing. The old stone mill and its green environment for the eyes, the sound of the river and the birdsong for the ears, the smell of trees in bloom and cut grass. The mill is a 5-10 minute walk to all the amenities that the small medieval town of Pons offers. Louise and Michael welcomed us warmly, caring about our well-being in their home while preserving our privacy. We had a great weekend at Moulin Chaillou, we can only recommend it. We enjoyed a wonderful week at Edith and Christophe’s outstanding home. The accommodation within the beautiful grounds is a bucolic haven in an historic building. Everything we had read and the photos we viewed were entirely representative of what we experienced. Edith and Christophe are very welcoming and hospitable, understandably proud of their home and its location. We were given recommendations and plenty of information about what to do and where to go in the local area. The apartment was characterful and clean, with everything we needed. The master bedroom was bright and airy, with a large comfortable bed. The pool in the converted barn was wonderful. Like everything else, the attention to detail is noticeable, with comfortable sun-loungers and use of an open-air jacuzzi. Lounging in the jacuzzi in the summer sun, in a private garden with countryside surroundings was a time to feel good about life! We feel very fortunate to have discovered Logis de Chassagne.

Very nice week with family at Manoir Souhait. The cottage is exactly as shown in the photos and described. Very nice pool and hot tub. Numerous deckchairs and impeccable. Everything is neat, you feel very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the foosball and ping pong. The village is very quiet and pretty. Shops are 10 minutes by car. The area is beautiful in the July sun. Geocaching trail (Terra Aventura) with family in Cognac, Aulnay, La Touche de Périgny, St Jean d'Angely - discovering old stones, beautiful Romanesque churches and rivers. Visit to wineries and vineyards (we particularly recommend the Dhiersat house in Rouillac). We recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation, family rest. Highly recommended!

Words cannot describe how peaceful and relaxing our stay was at Patrice’s home. Our dogs absolutely loved the big backyard and my husband and I loved being in such a cozy and comfortable home. Diana and I were super happy with the place. Floki (our dog) got along great with the friendly Lola (her dog). Really great! The place was super clean, the amenities are great and the best part is, the landlords are totally accommodating and sweet. Really! Unfortunately, we were unable to use the pool due to the weather, but it is clean and a nice size. The bakery in the village is really highly recommended, especially the little chocolate cakes! 😍 It was a great stay! PS: The kitchen is well equipped and the dog can roam freely on the premises without being able to escape :)

Lovely property. Fantastic pool. We were a family of 8 + child and it was very comfortable. Close to Cognac and an hours drive from pool. Welcoming and responsive hosts. Definitely recommend.

Our stay went very well, the hosts were very responsive before our stay to give us all the information we needed. The house is tastefully decorated, the place is quite suitable for a large group, the bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms numerous. The outdoor space is very nice with a breathtaking view, and the environment is quiet. The kind of place you quickly want to return to when you leave.

We had a great time, the pool is worthy of a 4-star rating, green and peaceful property. Everything is in place to have a relaxing vacation and disconnect. Don't hesitate to collect small logs in the landscaped park to enhance your evenings during a barbecue (this one provided) and at the same time, don't buy charcoal because Patrick will be very happy as you will contribute to cleaning the priority 😊 A big thank you to Christine and Patrick Nath & Mika Signed: the budding artist 😉

Beautiful location in the middle of the vast vineyards. Beautiful large swimming pool and all privacy, wonderfully quiet. Very friendly hosts Badger and Mandie! Given the location, you do need a car to visit all the attractions in the area. Fresh baguette provided every morning by Badger. The house was sparkling clean, well equipped and you received a welcome package of food for the first day, and cognac! Highly recommended this house partly thanks to the swimming pool and the very friendly hosts.
