Vacation rentals with a fireplace in County Westmeath

Absolutely stunning, homely, beautiful, spacious and practical. Each bedroom and bathroom is beautifully designed with love and care as well as interesting art work. Views are outstanding and it feels amazing to wake up in such a nice peaceful place. Everything was clean and it is full of useful appliances. Host was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. Would highly recommend a stay here and hope to visit back here again.

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful AirBnB. It had all the amenities we needed and was set on a nice farm with lots of little critters. The hosts were so kind and helpful and we visited most of the recommendations for sites and restaurants that they provided. You will need a car if you stay here unless you hire them for tourist services, which they do provide. But we picked up a car in Dublin and it was an easy drive out to the home. Would highly recommend this stay!

We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed our time at John's place. We wish we could have stayed longer. One of the few Airbnbs which is so much nicer in real life than on the pictures. Pictures cannot capture this tranquil place. Peaceful, idyllic place and grounds. The paths were lovely with bluebells and it felt like a little adventure hiking around the grounds. The sheep with their lambs were lovely to see through the bedroom window every morning. Tom the resident cat (outside) was a sweet addition to our stay. Always friendly and greeting us for cuddles many times throughout the day. Can really recommend for a family stay and for people who want a peaceful and quiet time in the countryside with lovely walks and beautiful views. Hope we'll be able to make it back in the future. We loved it.

What a gem! We absolutely loved this cozy, wonderful place. The views were incredibly beautiful and the house was furnished with everything you could want or need. On a few days, we were so cozy and relaxed at the house, that we decided to stay in for the day and just enjoy being there. That says it all! Most of all, our host Irene, was so responsive, helpful in recommending places, and so very friendly and kind. The location worked for us perfectly and we can’t wait to return! The next time we rent this Airbnb we will be visiting our new friend, Irene 🥰

Amazing Cabin. Just as advertised and more. We loved our stay and enjoyed visiting the local sites like Fore Abbey and the Cairns at Loughcrew. Cabin is in a beautiful location right beside the lake and kept extremely well, with lots of thought gone into making it a great place to stay. especially loved the outside kitchen. Even the Irish weather didn't dampen our stay!

Thank you Geraldine for a wonderful stay at your accommodation. Geraldine is a fabulous host, very communicative, polite and our check in was seamless. The accommodation was tastefully decorated with all that you need for stay. The kitchen is well stocked and Geraldine left fresh produce which was a lovely touch. If you want to escape your busy life, this is the place to come and relax and unwind. There are two hot tubs that can be accessed 24/7. Also Geraldine offers alternative therapies and we availed of full body massage and reflexology. Both treatments were really good and added to our relaxing stay. There is a big BBQ pit that can be used and a smaller one right our the back of your accommodation. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back in the future. I had a super great time at Niamh's place!! They were super helpful in getting there and back and were very communicative. The place was super cute and clean, and the pets were adorable and very very sweet. I would totally stay here again and can't recommend it enough!!

I am really happy with my experience at Sharon’s in Athlone. I came in late after a tumultuous day of travel and Sharon was flexible and understanding about it, providing me clear instructions of how to get inside and a clean, cozy space that was all mine. The house is comprised of two apartments with separate entrances, one of which is where I stayed. While they share walls, and I could sometimes hear my host moving around in her apartment, it was largely a quiet and disruption free space. Sharon went the extra mile in finding me a place in Athlone that still served food late, and I made it there just under the wire and didn’t have to go to bed hungry. The location is very convenient to the train station and a very easy ten to fifteen minute walk (mostly flat with sidewalks the whole way) to the majority of Athlone’s attractions. I was impressed by the amenities provided, the comfort of the bed, and the thoughtful touches. I would absolutely stay here again!
