Vacation rentals with lake access in County Westmeath

A realy amazing place. House is top spec and the ganes room was superb . Communication was great abd check in was simple. Could not recommend this place enough.

Really enjoyed staying at Rita's place. She welcomed us in person and showed us around the house, provided information on the location and area, and provided some milk/treats/etc. House is like the pictures, great location, has everything you'd need for a few days. Will recommend staying at Rita's and would be happy to stay again.

Just WOW!! From the moment you pull onto the drive, the beauty of your surroundings impress you. The cottage location was ideal for a family holiday. Everything you could have wanted, plenty of space and even a neighbours cat visits every day! Maeve was a brilliant host,always on hand and full of local information. I would return in a heartbeat and all of my family feel the same. Thank you for the wonderful memories 😁😁

Ann was an excellent host. Very communicative friendly and even funny. We felt like home. She gave us great tipps for dining. The seafood chowder and steasksandwich were delicious ;) :) Hopefully we can go back one time. We can recommend highly.

Being hosted by Helena has been the Airbnb highlight of our visit to Ireland. We were so wonderfully looked after by Helena, even to supplying us from Australia with vegemite, and no shortage of breakfast choises and snacks. A great and easy communicator, we thank Helena for her generosity in also taking us to historical places of interest. While sharing the main door and hallway, our accommodation was private with a very comfortable bedroom and ensuite and large sitting room with a fire and large T.V. The house was constantly warm and spotless. We could not praise more highly the care and consideration we experienced, and have no hesitation in recommending this stay to all Airbnb travelers.

I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible Airbnb, which truly felt like stepping into a castle! The place is full of fascinating artifacts and beautiful décor, making every corner a treasure to explore. The atmosphere was both charming and regal, giving me a sense of living in history while enjoying all the comforts of modern life. Jackie was exceptionally responsive and accommodating, ensuring that all of our needs were met with kindness and efficiency. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly arranged, and the experience was seamless. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a more unique and delightful stay. It was like living in a real-life museum with all the charm and beauty of a castle, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to stay. Sonia's home is one of my favorites in all of my travels on Airbnb. As a host myself, I felt immediately at home staying here at their countryside retreat for 4 nights this summer. They were amazing hosts - very responsive, insightful and caring! The pictures match the beautiful setting, the home is beautifully laid out with plenty of room to spread out as a family or a group of friends - a living room, kitchen, dining room on the main floor, plenty of outdoor space and 4 bedrooms and two full baths upstairs. Lots of toys for kids as well as a tree house in the yard, a tv room to watch movies/Netflix and a beautiful kitchen to prepare a meal. We loved the cows grazing in your front yard and view of the lake! It's a 10 min drive to Glasson town and 20 minutes to Athlone - a bustling city. About 90 min from Dublin Airport and an easy drive. You will love your stay here - private, quiet and relaxing and also strong Wifi! We can't wait to visit again!

The cottage with its eye catching exterior is ideally placed for travel around the central belt of Ireland. The village is lovely, clean and quiet with two very nice pubs in close proximity. Emmet also kindly provided a supply of provisions such as bread, milk, sausages to name but a few, for which we were grateful.

Ingrid was a lady, the accomodation was spotless, food in fridge for us, comfortable heated room, privacy, fab shower. The price was extremely reasonable for what we got. We felt kind of bad because the kids were making noice in the morning and we were trying to get ready and get out. Apologies and thank you Ingrid for not saying anything to us. Beautiful place

Absolutely charming cottage. Completely exceeded our expectations :-) it was warm cosy and so peaceful. Lovely welcome basket on arrival along with essentials needed for a cup of tea. Would highly recommend and definitely intend to return for another stay. Thank you Bernadette and Noel.
