Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in County Waterford

100% worth it. This isn’t just an accommodation, it’s an experience. The castle is very private, and we had it to ourselves for most of our stay. It was 1000x better than the pictures; beautiful, spacious, and comfortable room. The view from the rooftop was gorgeous, and the museum downstairs with all the artifacts found in/around the property was such a cool touch! Daphne and Louis’ attention to detail was astounding with little fun facts posted around the castle. Not to mention the superb breakfast!

We felt like family, and the place was very comfortable. It’s just a beautiful estate and well loved and cared for. Breakfast was amazing each morning, and I will miss porridge and whiskey!! 😆 Pat has lots of stories and is great to listen to, and Gertie is just a very catering person… making sure we were always happy. We had so much fun with Luke and Lillie, watching the pups play. If we come back for a return visit, it will be basically to see them!!! ❤️

the value was great for what we got, Susan was absolutely amazing. she was so accommodating and helpful. the place had its own entrance which was great and it even had top sheets which for us Americans not use to no a/c was great.

We have just had a wonderful stay at Kilcannon House with Gertie & Pat. They were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. It is a beautiful house with extremely comfortable spacious rooms. It was a little chilly, as late October. The heating was on and while we were in town, they went to the trouble of placing a hot water bottle in our bed so that it was extra cosy. Nothing was too much trouble. We had the best night sleep in the very comfortable bed. The next morning I was really looking forward to my breakfast as I’d read reviews - it did not disappoint! We didn’t need to eat again until the evening. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and understand why guests return time and time again. I will certainly be returning in the future. Thank you Gertie & Pat for your kind hospitality.

Marguerite & her father Finbar were absolutely lovely. They made me feel right at home and were very helpful at check in, showing me around the place & check out. They really took the time to chat with me which was lovely. Their place is beautiful. Exactly as described and an amazing location. I was visiting family up in Rearour, with plans to visit Youghal too, and this place was exactly where I needed to be. The room was perfectly clean and cosy, with great bedding and heating on at night. The lounge & breakfast room were great too, very clean and access to help yourself to tea and coffee, plus breakfast foods and TV in the lounge. Great selection of breakfast foods with cereals, bars, fresh fruit, yoghurt & toast. With orange juice, fresh milk & teas and coffees provided. Beautiful garden too with lots of lovely flowers and Finbar really works to keep the outside area tidy, chatting with visitors whilst he does so. I learned a lot about the place which I loved.

We have stayed at Anna's place many times, and each visit has been fantastic. Everything is always excellent, and Anna herself is incredibly friendly and helpful. She goes out of her way to ensure you're comfortable and offers assistance in any way she can. I highly recommend staying here!

Couldn’t have wished for more, Michael and his Wife were great hosts and lovely genuine couple, nothing was too much trouble for them..It was a lovely spotless bedroom with on-suite and was very peaceful location. Breakfast was fab, had a full cooked breakfast and it was lovely, set me up for the day. If I’m ever that way again I would definitely stay again..
