Access to the property is via a driveway across a field. Lough Derg is a five minute walk away. You have a your own self contained apartment. Your own separate entrance, parking area and garden. There are two large double bedrooms a large private bathroom and a kitchenette. Please note, we do not have a shower, but a luxurious bath instead!

The house is set in great privacy on 1.6 acres of gardens and woodland at the end a long driveway accessed through electric gates. Perfect location for enjoying local amenities or exploring the rest of Ireland - 2 hours to most tourist spots.

Tóg go bog é is the name of our home and it translates to "Take It Easy" in English. Our family actually stayed in this home while visiting Ireland and decided that we had to make it ours because of the peace and relaxed feeling that we had while staying here. The home and village have the Tóg go bog é feeling that we needed in our busy and hectic lives. The village has 133 residents and sits alongside one of the largest lakes in all of Ireland. We think you will feel it too!

Ghillies Lair

This is a two-story cottage over 100 years old recently renovated and situated on its own extensive private site. A five minute walk to the town center and the same distance to Lough Derg and the river Shannon. It has onsite parking and outdoor covered facilities for dining. It is ideally located for outdoor activities including swimming, Angling, Boating , Cycling Walking and Golfing. The Forest Park has numerous walking \ cycling trails and a new Blueway is now open.

Blackrock Point, Lough Derg

Set overlooking Lough Derg, the house is available Saturday to Saturday (7 day min stay), May through September. The village is a leisurely ten-minute walk away. There are many cafes, a French patisserie, numerous pubs with trad music and several restaurants along with two hotels. Killaloe also serves as a base for exploring Nenagh, Limerick and Galway.
