Visited David and laureens house for a hen recently. Absolutely amazing weekend. 17 ladies. Huge back room whiwj was amazing from group meals / hen games. Very conformable bedrooms. Would highly recommend. Super location, all within walking distance to all pubs /bars.

Very central location for various day trips to National Parks and other Highlights in Galway County (Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Connemara, Clonmacnoise…). Very convenient and large house for 6 persons. Everything was easy to find and was well equipped!

If you are a Harry potter fan you will love Conor's house. My 7 year old grandson wanted to sleep in the cupboard under the stairs.( We talked him out of it) There is a lot to discover and the back garden with a tree house is huge. Conor was very friendly and was happy to share local information on Boyle's history and locations. We will return and see what other things that have been added. 🙂

Lovely house in beautiful village. Had everything you could possible need from cooking utensils to toiletries. Loads of fuel which unusually for Ireland we didn’t need, Beautiful courtyard to avail of the unusual sun. Kim even offered to set up the umbrella so we could sit out. Paudge & Kim were so professional to deal with. Made loads of recommendations & suggestions to ensure we had the best possible stay. Paudge sent loads of things to do by email as it was our first time in the area. There is also loads of info in the house of things to do in Leitrim. Parking right outside the door. Netflix to keep us entertained which was an unexpected bonus. If I’m ever back Leitrim way again would look to stay with Paudge & Kim.

Fiona and Philip were very friendly and helpful. Communication was great, they respond immediately and always try to make you feel at home. The house is big, in a quiet place. Easy parking at the door. One of the bedrooms has a proper “office” table and chair, it was great for me when I needed to to work at home. The area around does not have many restaurants, you would need to go downtown. There’s a bus stop few meters from the house . There is also a supermarket close by.

Paddy Mac's Holiday Bar

My family and I loved our stay at Paddy Mac's. The pub was the highlight of the accommodations, it was a joy to do our own bartending and socialize by the fire. We appreciated that everyone had their own space (and bathrooms), and made good use of the kitchen for group meals. A huge plus: the Centra grocery store right across the street. As hosts, Andrea and Paddy were very helpful and responsive, and lent us vital assistance when he had an issue with one of our rental cars. Paddy was even gracious enough to have a nice chat with my father and sister. Drumshanbo itself was peaceful yet vibrant. We highly recommend the Shed Distillery as well as yoga/sauna at the Lough Allen Adventure Center. All in all, Paddy Mac's was perfect for our purposes of spending quality family time together in a charming part of the country. We would highly recommend to to anyone looking for the same, and again, thanks to Andrea and Paddy for being wonderful hosts.

We loved our stay at Lou’s place! She was an excellent host. Met us on arrival, gave me a lovely house tour and she gave us reccomendations for everything that was going on in the town. She checked in with us while we were there and was super responsive. The house itself is so central to everything and it’s so homely! We absolutely loved it! Would definitely stay again.

Since in the town, I expected to pay more but this place has a reasonable price and everything is in walking distance from the Bnb. The rooms are lovely and clean, same as the kitchen area. I would definitely come again

Room was perfect, very clean, comfortable and in a very good location. They let me borrow a charger adapter as I had forgotten mine in Galway, which was really helpful to me.

We had a lovely time at " Bastion B&B". Very atmospheric and cozy place in the centre, close to good restaurants and pubs. Our room was very nice, clean and quiet. We also enjoyed the lounge area where you can prepare your own breakfast and relax reading a book. We felt like at home. Friendly and attentive hosts.

This was a great phase for our few day trip in Athlone! We were warmly welcomed and the recommendation of heading to Clonmacnoise was appreciated so we didn't miss out while we were in the area. The lounge was a nice area to eat and relax. I might have missed it in the listing but the kitchen only has a microwave and toaster, no hotplate so we weren't able to cook. This wasn't a big deal as there are plenty of good food places close to us! The room was perfect for what we needed and had heaters as it was a bit chilly out. I would recommend!

Cosy little studio right in the heart of Athlone. Kitchenette was helpful to make a coffee in the morning, shower was nice and warm with good water pressure, heating was set to a very nice comfortable level. Very happy with the stay!

We were in the area to attend a wedding, staying with Sandra for one night. Sandra’s attention to detail was excellent and arranged for us to be collected after the wedding. We had a very comfortable stay and felt very much at home. We would highly recommend Sandra and would stay again if in the area.
