This is an old rustic cottage from 1946. Walking distance from town center500 m) and from Shearwater (800m). Your room is south orientated, with a sofa bed (1.20m wide), a desk and a chair. You will share the living room, and the bathroom with me, my family and or my friends.There is no TV. Internet is as quick as possible in that area. (I am working remotely). Your breakfast will be very simple as there are not far away nice lounges, bars, restaurants providing full breakfast or brunch.Welcome!

Our home is nestled on 18 acres of idyllic countryside, which not only boasts access to a private lake with runner boards you can fish from but its green fields roll down to the banks of the Shannon River Navigation. By DAY you can take a stroll, watch calves frolic, swans busy with their signets, darting dragonflies and watch as the cruisers sail past. By NIGHT you can sip a glass and watch the fabulous sunsets, have a BBQ or toast marshmallows over a pot bellied fire under a blanket of stars.

My place is located on the river Shannon, in the picturesque village of Lanesborough, with stunning walk ways, fishing, bike hire, children's playground, great bars and restaurants You'll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, and the neighbourhood. My place is good for couples and families (with kids). Great weekend entertainment in the local bars and plenty to entertain the kids. Central to local towns Longford, Roscommon and Athlone.

"The Little Flock Farm": B&B at Lough Ree

We offer a nice, luxurious en suite bedroom on a farm with view over the fields as well as over Lough Ree in the extremely quite neighbourhood of the Portrunny bay with its well equipped marina. The environment combines both rural landscapes (walking and cycling along historical trails) and lake exploring (fishing, boating, …). Pat and Caroline are the most lovely welcoming hosts one could wish for. I only stayed one night in the cabin but got that reconnection with nature I was hoping for. The cabin itself is basic of course but I was spoiled with a glass of wine and the use of the bath in the main house which were greatly appreciated injections of luxury and relaxation. Thanks Pat and Caroline for the warm welcome!

I stayed overnight here on my way to the West and I got such a great nights sleep I stayed again on my way back to Dublin! Very clean room, breakfast was left out for me in the morning, very peaceful and Naval was very kind. Definitely recommend staying at this lovely AirBnB.
