Kilduffs farmhouse

PhilipRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Angela’s accommodation at Kilduff’s Farmhouse is well equipped with everything you’ll need, it is well appointed, warm and comfortable. As the name suggests, the setting is rural and quiet. Be aware shops and facilities are all a drive away, so plan accordingly. We found excellent restaurants and bars in the area, all run by engaging, welcoming locals. Angela’s communications were spot on and prompt. We enjoyed our stay and commend Kilduff’s Farmhouse to you.
A cozy living area features a vintage fireplace with decorative tiles, accompanied by a wooden coffee table. Plush sofas with decorative cushions are arranged for comfort. Artwork adorns the walls, while natural light enters through a window adorned with bamboo blinds.

Cosy Townhouse on The Hill in Ireland

JayandRachelRating, 5 stars24 months ago
A comfortable, lovely home in a large village. Groceries near by for cooking at home. A restaurant within walking distance for a dinner out. And the singing pub just down the road for a drink and good music. The home was quiet at night. And Gerard was a terrific host. He shared some wonderful, historical information about the home and the area and was super responsive to our texts. We had a fantastic stay!
An open-plan kitchen and dining area is depicted, highlighted by a large wooden table surrounded by a mix of chairs. A soft, warm light is emitted from round paper lanterns above. Kitchen shelves display dishes and decorative items, creating a relaxed yet stylish environment.

Open-Plan Lodge in Birr

SaraRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I absolutely loved this pet-friendly house. It’s warm in every sense, the style mixes antique with quirky, and you feel immediately at home. The walled garden is an experience in itself, ideal for reading a good book or simply enjoying the magical feel of it. My dog enjoyed it too. The piano is tuned and the sound is beautiful - it had been 20 years since my last time playing and I loved the opportunity. The location is central, literally 1 minute walk to Birr Castle and maybe 5 minutes to the town centre. Don’t miss Birr River Walk, especially if you have dogs. You will also find Memory Lane Courtyard Cafe opposite the entrance to the castle - again, perfect spot for dog parents. We walked as far as Woodfield Garden Centre (about 25 minutes) - well worth it. So, you can park your car and forget about it! Truly a great experience.
A comfortable seating area is presented with two spacious sofas adorned with cushions in varied shades. A stylish coffee table sits in the center, accompanied by an assortment of green plants. Large windows provide a scenic view of the surroundings, allowed by natural light.

Jack Wright's @ Hushabye Farm

AndreaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Alpaca farm is a magical place. The Jack Wrights cottage is a lovely accommodation, it has an independent entrance and all the services you need, great views of the mountains and friendly Alpacas and Sheep grazing right across from the house. There's a table outside which is an amazing place to have some drinks and dinner overlooking the fields. This was our second visit and we'll be back, Paul and family are so welcoming, you feel at home. You get to roam around the farm and engage with the animals. We were lucky to arrive 5 days after the birth of a little lamb which we got to bottle feed. An unforgettable experience for the kids!
A charming white cottage is presented against a clear blue sky. Flower boxes adorn the windows, adding a touch of color. A small outdoor seating area with a table and chairs is visible on the gravel pathway, providing a welcoming space for relaxation.

I can only say great things about our stay. The cottage was beautiful, clean, comfy beds and right in the heart of the wonderful irish countryside. There were a couple of unforeseen issues that arose but linda was easily accessible, extremely understanding, and super quick at rectifying (even when requiring a plumber she got it sorted within hours). So we highly recommend staying in lindas cottage and we thank linda for making our stay so enjoyable

Wonderful apartment and host! The apartment was clean and kitchen was stocked with every needed for preparing meals. Gael’s home is in a picturesque village and a quick walk to the grocery store and local pub/restaurant. I definitely recommend walking to Egan’s Pub for a pint or delicious home cooked meal! I am already looking forward to my staying at Gael’s on my next vacation!

Townhouse on The Hill

NikenRating, 5 stars7 months ago
My mum and I stayed at Gerard’s while visiting family round the corner, so it was the perfect location and base for us. Very handy for the local link bus stop at Banagher FETC from/to Athlone and from/to Birr which is only a 2min walk from the house. Great amenities in the house for cooking and it has everything you would need, plus the house heated up really well so was lovely and warm. Thanks Gerard for the welcome teabags, milk, bread and butter too and for being incredibly helpful and responsive, we’ll be back!
The living area features a comfortable seating arrangement with a neutral-toned sofa and a coffee table. A large window allows natural light to illuminate the space, complemented by a decorative rug on the floor.

Stunning 2-Bed Apartment

Mark & LouiseRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We stayed here with our 3 children for one night. It is close to the motorway & was an ideal place to stay to break up a long journey. The stove was lighting when we arrived & lots of turf left for us to keep the fire going. Milk in the fridge & a fresh loaf of bread for us to enjoy. The kids loved the box of toys & books there also. Stephen was very responsive to any message. Highly recommend.
An exterior view of the studio showcases a simple white building with a metal roof. Two windows with green trim are visible on the front facade. The gravel area in front is enclosed by wooden fencing, creating a contained outdoor space.
