Tranquillity meets luxury glamping in our stunning IgluCabin, perched high in the hills near Geevagh, 20 mins from Sligo town. Sitting above the valley we are always stunned by the silence and sunsets that bless our location. The pod itself is beautifully designed in shiplap wood, the interior offers a cosy bedroom area, a kitchen with smart use of space, a living and dining area with lots of natural light from a panoramic window and a bathroom with shower. Experience the simplicity of nature on the River Shannon along the banks of Lough Bofin. Stay in the comfort of a newly renovated contemporary stone cottage on the grounds of Aughry House, where 17th century Aughry Castle once stood. Surrounded by walled gardens in a sheltered stone yard you can enjoy the grounds by day and cosy up by the oil burning stove come evening time. Only a 3min stroll to the village and harbour and within a 10-15 min drive to Carrick-on-Shannon and Lough Rynn Castle.

The Hobbit House - Unique Quirky Grass Roof House

The Hobbit House is set within an orchard along side 3 yurts. Its grass roof and quirky round door entrance are reminiscent of The Hobbit. The Hobbit House sleeps up to 6. There are two handcrafted King size beds (which can also sleep as four singles) for a friends getaway. It also sleeps two singles, so is perfect for large families. A travel cot can also be provided on request. Private dry composting toilet and hot outdoor shower for those staying in The Hobbit House.

Kitty’s Cottage is located in the heart of Ballinamore town. What was once an old railway cottage has been lovingly restored into a modern and comfortable space to relax and unwind with family or friends. Plenty of dining places and pubs to choose from in and around the town. You can go hill walking on the beautiful Sliabh an Iarainn mountain close by. Try Western style riding in the Equestrian Centre, Drumcoura City, go fishing, play golf in the local golf course.
