Mountain Hideaway with Cave Bar & Hot Tub

Nestled within the Slievenamon mountains, this cosy countryside apartment offers the perfect escape with your own private hot tub (available for €30 per night- payable on arrival. Please provide 24 hours’ notice if you would like to use) fire pit, or spend the evening in our cave bar. The apartment follows a traditional layout featuring an open plan living space with a fully equipped kitchen, cosy sitting area, and bedroom with a double bed. There is also a small separate room with a single bed.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. A toddler bed and cot are available on request. Adult bikes are available, the greenway is ten minutes away. We have a trampoline and swing in our rear garden which is shared by hosts kids. Tramore is 10km away, surfboards available to rent, own private entrance and outside area to rest/play. Bathroom is a wet room and will be helpful for guests with additional needs. The bus stop to Tramore, shops, pool, pubs minutes away.

The house was lovingly built with light filled rooms, high ceilings, and antique details for a luxurious yet charming feel. The house is located 4km from Inistioge village, a friendly local spot with pubs, a local shop, and more river views. Woodstock gardens sit at the top of the village hill. Kilkenny and Waterford cities are located 30mins drive away.

Despite the peaceful setting, the house is very central with pubs, shops, bank and church all within walking distance. Guests enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, outdoor space, friendly local community and convenient street parking. The house is is an ideal base for exploring the area.

Aunty Shea's Getaway

Tigín (tigeen-small house) with two bedrooms and a kitchen/living room area. This is a small cosy space with solid fuel heating. The bedrooms have two king size beds. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave, etc. The toilet/wetroom has an Triton T90SR electric shower. There is a TV with saoirview channels. The tigín is beside our house. Less than 20 minutes from Kilkenny city and very close to Ballykeefe amphitheatre. 5 minutes drive to callan.

Our cosy farmhouse is situated in the heart of the countryside . Coolhill castle is a 2 minute walk. Out through the windows you will see breath taking views of the Blackstairs mountain. 15 minute drive to the Dunbrody famine ship, the Kennedy homestead and the picturesque village of Inistioge. Cycling and walking tracks in Graiguenamanagh and St. Mullins all less than 20 minutes away . We are located 30 minute drive from Wexford, Waterford and Kilkenny
