Soludden Eckerö

Cozy little cottage with open floor plan, mini kitchen, gas stove, microwave and refrigerator. Two bar stools with the possibility to eat breakfast inside. A small sleeping alcove with a double bed and a separate sauna. There are two terraces, the one in the west has a dining table for 6 people with an incredible view of the open sea and the horizon. There is also an outdoor sink on the east side terrace as well as a gas grill. A dry toilet directly outside the sauna as well as a separate newly-built shower and laundry room as well as a frozen toilet a short distance away.

Beach with kayak

Stay close to the sea in a small and simple accommodation with its own sauna and beach. There is a kitchenette, outdoor toilet behind the outhouse, a bathroom with sink and shower. The bedroom has a bunk bed, sofa bed for two is in the room. Kayak is available as well as outdoor furniture and charcoal grill. The accommodation is located next to the hiking trail around Kungsö battery with the nice observation tower and cozy picnic spots. Mariehamn is close, about 10 km.

The stairs up to the loft can be difficult for older as well as younger people. The area is quiet.

Our "Lillstuga" was built in the late 1800s and is located in the village of Frebbenby in Hammarland municipality on the Åland mainland. In the spring of 2024, we completed the total renovation we carried out and recreated in a country style. We have tried to preserve the character as much as possible, even if it has been modernized.
