Cozy cottage near the sea, perfect for your morning swim. Terrace with morning sun and lake view. The cottage has two bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, a small kitchenette with an electric stove and a refrigerator, a small sink, no running water inside the cottage but a water post on the outside.  A chemical toilet. A small loft. A few meters from the cottage, there is also a small cottage with a wood-fired sauna with an outdoor shower with a hot water heater. In the small cottage, there is also a room with a bed. Firewood included. Possibility of boating & fishing.

Soludden Eckerö – Sauna with sunset by the sea

Cozy little cottage with open floor plan, mini kitchen, gas stove, microwave and refrigerator. Two bar stools with the possibility to eat breakfast inside. A small sleeping alcove with a double bed and a separate sauna. There are two terraces, the one in the west has a dining table for 6 people with an incredible view of the open sea and the horizon. There is also an outdoor sink on the east side terrace as well as a gas grill. A dry toilet directly outside the sauna as well as a separate newly-built shower and laundry room as well as a frozen toilet a short distance away.

Beach with kayak

Stay close to the sea in a small and simple accommodation with its own sauna and beach. There is a kitchenette, outdoor toilet behind the outhouse, a bathroom with sink and shower. The bedroom has a bunk bed, sofa bed for two is in the room. Kayak is available as well as outdoor furniture and charcoal grill. (Coal and lighter fluid are not included) Electricity and municipal water. The sauna is wood-fired. The accommodation is located next to the hiking trail around Kungsö battery with the nice observation tower and cozy picnic spots. Mariehamn is close, about 10 km.

Nice guest house with lovely porch

Take a break and unwind in our guest house located in Kungsö, about 10 km outside Mariehamn. The guest house contains a built-in bunk bed with 2 comfortable beds, a small kitchenette with a stove and a small refrigerator. Seating for 2 people. Shower is on the balcony outside the guest house but also inside the guest house as well as an outdoor toilet around the corner. The guest house is connected to the residential house and shares the balcony. Here we live, 2 adults, a curious little boy and two small dogs that run loose on the property.

Private cabin by the sea

Relax in this simple and charming cottage right by the sea, just 20 minutes from Mariehamn. The cottage has two bedrooms and a living room with kitchen. In the sauna building, there is a shower, wood-fired sauna, sauna dressing room and outdoor toilet. During cool spring and autumn evenings, the stoves in both houses spread a lovely warmth. Pets are welcome, and the balcony can be closed so that the dogs can move freely. The cottage is best suited for 2-3 people, but 4 people can sleep here. Boat or jetty available to rent if needed.

Our "Little Cottage" was built in the late 19th century and is located in the village of Frebbenby in the municipality of Hammarland on mainland Åland. In the spring of 2024, we completed the complete renovation that we carried out and recreated in a rural style. Idas stuga

Idas stuga är ett minihus med havet och skogen som grannar. I närheten ligger flera sommarstugor, bland annat värdparets. Observera att under högsäsong i juli vistas flera sommargäster i samma område. Under de kvällar som dansbandsveckan i Degerby ordnas hörs ljud därifrån som kan uppfattas som störande. Den här säsongen serveras vår omtyckta frukostkorg endast lördagar och söndagar. Den ingår i priset och om den önskas så beställs den på förhand.
