Waterfront vacation rentals in Costa Careyes

I feel very lucky to have spent nine days in this beautiful space. The terrace is big, open and bordered with plants. The living/bedroom area is attractively furnished and a good size. The bed is comfortable and the tiled bathroom has a good shower. There is a well-equipped kitchen accessible through its own entrance on the terrace. The whole space is very private and quiet at night. The apartment is a ten minute walk to the center of Melaque and a few blocks from the beach. There are many small, good, inexpensive restaurants nearby and a great cafe--Taza Negra--about three blocks away. The hosts Gabriel and Florence are jewellers who have a small store and workshop adjoining their space which is a large ground floor area below and quite separate from the terrace and apartment. They are warm ,easy going and interesting people who were welcoming and responsive any time I reached out to them with questions. This is in one of those Air BnB gems. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Great location, privacy, comfort, ideal for up to 4 people We received the room extremely clean and everything in place. It is very central, direct access to the beach, direct access to the street and everything you have at hand, bank, restaurants, shops, etc.

What a beautiful place, step out on the deck with your coffee and watch sunrise over a beautiful Lagoon,while Birds of all shapes and sizes soar around above. The pool and Landscaping are easily cover material for any design magazine. We felt safe, secure, and the locals are very friendly.

We loved being right in the neighborhood and interacting with the local residents. We are pickleball players and there are courts within a 5 minute walk. The yard is very private and the pool is great. We were there for little over 2 weeks and there were only other guests on the weekends Mayra, the resident caretaker is wonderful, she responded within minutes to any concerns. The place is a little rustic, but we really enjoyed it and it has everything we need. We didn't have a car and the walk to town took roughly 30 minutes. I would recommend this property

The stay was pleasant, the photographs match and the location is privileged to enjoy the beach and the seawall. Gerardo as host is an excellent person who was always aware of what was offered and to be able to help at all times. Without hesitation we will stay here again to enjoy a great vacation again.

It was a pleasant stay, the residence has all the amenities and excellent comfort, of all the rooms, the enjoyment of the pool that was one of the things that was sought was surprised by the design and very clean, I recommend if you want to spend a few pleasant days on a Christmas bar.

Simple and elegant, the apartment was the perfect place for our time in Melaque. It was very clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Just a block from the bus station and a few minutes walk to the beach. Neftali was an excellent host and made sure we were well taken care of. We hope to be back next year!

Gabriela’s place was great! This home was able to accommodate 14 members of our family comfortably. We loved how each room had its own bathroom and shower. It allowed efficiency and privacy. We definitely will be returning to Gabriela’s home.

Upon my arrival, the reception was punctual. I didn't have to waste time to get into the house. The check-in was immediate with clear indications of the services. The service was pleasant and friendly. The house is large, comfortable and I think that although it is not right on the beach, we are at a suitable or acceptable distance. Very spacious rooms and bathrooms. We had a few issues but they were resolved immediately. Without a doubt, very acceptable value for money. I hope to return soon.

We had a great stay in Barra de Navidad. It was nice to be able to take a 10 minute walk to town or a water taxi to and from the malecon.

A very good place for family vacations. The house is just as described and shows the photos. Carolina the owner is very attentive with everything. Just two things that I would change would be the refrigerator that used touched, and the microwave that didn't heat up, but overall that didn't affect the vacation. Recommended the place

Beautiful home, it was just what we needed for our family vacation. Host response time was awesome, answered all questions. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, clean pool, a/c. Would book again:)

The village and especially Casa Loki are extremely pleasant. The houses are practically new and very nice. Anneli and the team that supports her were always attentive, helpful and kind. The decor and the furnishings of the house are surprising, all the details are extremely well cared for. Anneli left complimentary fruit, chocolates, and coffee. The common pool, the private pool and the bay are beautiful. Being among palm trees, listening to the sea and feeling the breeze is a delight. Thank you, totally recommended!

The apartment is very nice and has everything you need in the kitchen. The only thing is that the air conditioning throws water in the hallway and the floor gets slippery. little space in the shower, uncomfortable when bathing, the curtain sticks to your body but everything else was very good, excellent. I will definitely be back very soon

This was our third stay at Joyce's place, and we simply love visiting Boca de Iguanas. The condo is beautiful and spacious, with a terrace overlooking the sea that’s perfect for meals. The kitchen is super well-equipped, ideal for anyone who enjoys cooking. The beach is stunning—peaceful, relaxing, and spacious. Whether you want to swim, take a walk, or simply soak up the sun, it’s a fantastic spot. Joyce's property also features a gorgeous garden surrounded by the end of a river, home to a variety of birds and iguanas—an absolute delight to admire. Just a heads-up: there’s only a small store nearby where you can find basics like ice and beer for the beach. I recommend bringing your own food so you can focus on nothing but relaxing. Nely is always there to take care of anything you might need regarding the condo, and Joyce is very responsive and helpful if you need her as well.

The stay was very nice. The overall is very nice and the whole club cherries Spectacular. Thanks to Gerardo for his attention.

We loved staying here. A super quiet, safe and family friendly place. The place is worth it, the super equipped kitchen, the super clean bathrooms and the bedrooms as well. We liked that there was parking and everything was close by.

The place was advertised! It is very peaceful, and there is a large pool. The zone was very quiet, with great views and an oceanfront. The host was very attentive and responsive all through the stay. I will be happy to return on my next vacation.

Everything was just as advertised, a very quiet place despite being high season there wasn't much noise and the privacy was excellent, only with the comment that because it was high season the parking was quite full and it was very difficult to access and exit in the afternoons
