Cottage vacation rentals in Corstorphine

I came to Scotland with the intent of visiting this beautiful cottage and boy am I glad I did. The home was private, quiet, spacious, and homey. We took advantage of the kitchen to cook breakfast and dinners, the fireplace inside for a cozy reading night, and the firepit outside despite some wind. Kirkaldy is a 35 minute walk from the cottage where you can access the Fife coastal path and see the small local town and stunning sea. Another thing I loved about this stay were the linens and bathrobes- so luxe and comfortable! Things to be aware of: Ubers do not access the property but jane provided local taxi numbers for us which we used. There are not many spices in the home so if you do plan on cooking with them, be sure to bring some. Finally, be prepared for sadness when you leave because you will miss this dreamy Airbnb.

Wonderful stay. The location is absolutely superb. What amazing views and so peaceful and remote. Sitting in the hot tub looking out over the hills was pure bliss!! And the stars you could see on a clear night, wow. Despite being so remote it’s close enough to Edinburgh that you can drive in and do all the attractions. So just perfect. Kylie was a fab host too, leaving Easter eggs for the kids and letting the kids feed her kunekune pig one day! The animals are great, especially Karen then hen, although she will come inside if allowed haha! All in all, we had a fantastic stay. Thank you Kylie

A tranquil and peaceful stay in this spacious and well equipped cottage. We were well looked after by Jenny and co. and felt totally relaxed. Enjoyed our interactions with farm life, which included birthing a lamb, petting the donkies and seeing the newborn kittens, it made our stay very special. The house is well located for trips into Edinburgh and Glasgow, or to enjoy nearby countryside. You won't regret it!

We had a lovely few days, staying at Appletree Cottage, with our two grandchildren aged 6 and 3. The cottage was very comfy and well equipped, and ideally suited our needs. Good location for many attractions such as Blair Drummond Safari Park, Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies. We were lucky to have good weather so the excellent play area and hot tub were much enjoyed each day. Would definitely recommend booking.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pentland Pod. The pod was very clean and well equipped. Hazel and Jim are fabulous hosts. It felt like staying with family friends. They made sure to give us lots of recommendations of things to visit in the area. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back in the future.

Thank you for a beautiful stay!. Myself and 2 friends were celebrating turning 40. The house was stunning, and beautifully cared for. Everything we needed was at hand and if we had needed anything Emily was just a door knock away which was great to know. This little gem makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere taking some much needed time away.

From initial contact, through arrival, stay and departure, everything was ideal. Libby's warm welcome, the cleanliness, comfort, facilities and general atmosphere were all quiteoutstanding.

We had the perfect time! The place was spotless and very comfortable. A real home away from home. The house has a lovely flow to it, so very comfortable for groups. Very private and peaceful but so close to Longniddry for groceries or the station. Helen and her family were friendly and approachable but left us to our own devices. The horse was lovely. I don't think the photos show that it has a bath - it does! So that was fantastic to discover. We would definitely stay again!

The cottage is lovely and in such a tranquil location. Accessible to both Edinburgh and Glasgow. It was immaculately clean and very cosy. Just what we needed.

We have just stayed at Laura's place and as a family of 4 (2 Adults, a 6 and 9 year old) we all loved it and felt it was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need. The location is private and has outstanding views. It was just what we imagined it to be like. It is close enough to Edinburgh City to visit the Zoo, Castle and Museum but far enough out to feel peaceful and remote and enjoy lots of walks. As well as doing some local walks we visited Pentland Hills which was beautiful. We would highly recommend Laura's place and we definitely plan to visit again.

The accommodations were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the location is quiet. The home was very clean, and we found everything in working order. Gaele is friendly, responsive, and a gracious hostess. We highly recommend this property. We felt the welcome and she gave us great suggestions on restaurants and places to see.

Wonderful stay at the Garden Cottage. A perfect location for beach, train, shop access. Beautiful garden with peaceful spots to enjoy it. The cottage instantly feels like home. Jane is lovely - helpful and very responsive.

We had a super stay at Wemyss Estate. We felt very much at home, & enjoyed the local walks on the Estate and Fife Coastal Path, & further afield.

We had a lovely weekend get together with friends in this cottage. We had a baby in the group too which was very well accommodated for with a high chair and cot. The house was cozy with a fire ready to be lit. We went for a nice walk in the Pentlands and had a peaceful stay in the very quiet bothy. We would definitely come again!

Overall a superb stay; cosy, perfectly equipped space that was larger than I expected and so wonderfully homely. Exceptional value, especially given how fantastic the property is, its location (stunning, dark skies too!) and proximity to Edinburgh. Stefan and Samantha were wonderfully responsive and I felt safe, warm and welcome. I could not have found a lovelier spot to enjoy a peaceful NYE.

It was a pleasure staying at Wasim's place. The cottage is lovely and well-furnished. The place is quite and roughly a 20-minute drive to the city. The host was very pleasant and provided us with useful tips. And he also made a very special Easter gift for my son, which was very kind of him! Definitely, a 5-star service. Highly recommended. If I ever return to Scotland, this place is on my list!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay as a family of 4 with young children. The garden/surroundings are beautiful, the cottage is comfortable and we felt very at home. Would stay here again!

we really loved our stay , great location we hired a car and visited loads of places. arrived to a lovely welcome card, fresh fruit and bottle of wine, great touch. 26 acres of land to walk around with great views. our son loved it, didn't want to come home. would highly recommend it! .

Kerry helped us out massively when another Airbnb host cancelled at the last minute. She was very responsive and got her property ready for us super quick. The property is beautiful and we can’t praise Kerry enough
